I remember buying ZOE1 only because it came with a MGS2 demo disc. After I played the demo for a couple days I popped in ZOE1 and it was different but good. In fact, good enough to get ZOE2 and that was possibly the most overlooked but still known game on the PS2 (if that makes any sense lol). Great game.

Sweet workaround! However, I was watching some play it on Twitch and the AI is atrocious. Beta tends to be damn near what the finished product will be and this game will not be worth any price without fixing the AI. It's bad bad...really bad...comically bad but you sigh instead of laugh bad.
Kind of non-angry ranted about PS+ below but The Order is exactly the type of game I'm talking about. A game like that - an exclusive that isn't selling anymore but is intriguing despite reviews - should be on PS+ by now. JMHO
Catherine is almost constantly on sale for $2-5 so it is surprising to not see it in the Vday flash sale.

Had to grab Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate for $12. I loved SE2 for PS3 and even though it's not perfect I had a blast with it and bought all the DLC. This would straight up be my comp running any FPS made since 2010. No texture nodding necessary. I'm a gamer but the PC games I love tend to be older ones or I just get it on console b/c I'm too cheap to upgrade from my 2012 Wal-Mart mid-range laptop.

This is much more like a really terrible PS2 Era game than PS1, IMO. It runs way too smooth to truly fool you but completely ruining/dropping the fps within an FPS is crazy. It's cool but they should have made the draw distance blocked by fog, much less AA, zero "shiny" textures like that wall had, etc.
Going back to any PS2 FPS is just so hard now so a true PS1 overhaul would be against common sense and fun. Dropping frames is not what I'd recommend but ad...

Another idea I've had is a reimbursement system. Imagine a system where Sony releases the IGC each month the way they do now and members have a chance to decline the game for "points". Each game would have points based on what they paid to get the game on the IGC. They release MGS: GZ but you already own it? This game is going to be HUGE for a very small amount of people. Many will try it and it will sell about as much as any other title they'they've made but 6 months after launch the community will be small but absolutely hardcore.
I really want this but I have to be honest with myself and wonder if I have the skill and patience to stick with it. The concept and engine is astounding but I think there will be LBP fans that find this too daunting.
