I disagree completely. Sony generated more buzz by merely releasing basic PS5 specs over the last month.
It's been a weak E3 this year and that happens every 5 years or so. They even stopped E3 altogether about a decade ago because it was weak for a few years in a row.
Microsoft did nothing that special this year and soent a ton of money to do so. They bought another great studio so that's cool but Keanu Reeves showing up does nothing for them. Sc...
A GameBryo Engine battle royale game?
Lmfaooooooooo
Very bland and dead. It felt lifeless despite looking good on a purely visual standpoint. It has an uncanny valley problem in literally every facet - visual, physics, logic, etc
It's a shame that this looks so incredibly boring because it shouldn't. It just looks "off". Hard to pinpoint exactly what it is.
A few issues I notice:
1 - It's firmly in the uncanny valley. Animations seem stiff and contrasted against a hyper-real background and character model it creates an odd viewing experience.
2. Star Wars can't seem to get it's technology timeline right...ever. In "story A" they'...
3 & 4 need to get their asses here already
It was an article from thr day the partnership was announced that has since been completely outdated.
People keep pointing to one publication that jumped the gun, since admitted they jumped the gun and corrected themselves.
It'll go to PC if Sony allows it and that seems unlikely (at best).
JFC this again
If Sony allows/allowed it. That's it. There is no debate.
Sony owns Guerilla Games.
Guerilla Games owns Decima Engine.
DS is built using Decima Engine.
Could Kojima have made this a condition for working with Sony? Sure. It's not an impossibility. Is it likely that Sony would let a flagship title be on any other playform, even in a "timed exclusive" sense? Unlikely.
1. Because the studios do not see gaming as an "art" so they allot very little to the production of the movie adaptations.
2. They then really consider the budget and lower it further because they're afraid that a game's story couldn't possibly carry a movie for 90 minutes.
3. This insanely low budget means the studio then hires dogs#it talent to write, direct and star in the movie.
4. That's it. That's rea...
Live action because it's a friggin 10yr old game that looks like it's 20yrs old being sold for $40
Edit: $50!
My bad lmao. Awesome deal.
I have a thick, veiny one right now gents.
I've heard this from a few people but also heard it was merely a good but not great kart racer.
I'll definitely try it though.
This. It'll definitely come out on PS5 and probably at launch. I'm sure whatever online component there is will still work with it at that point.
Original release will likely be later this year.
By being wildly successful and beloved? Yeah, I guess but it was probably worth it.
Capcom could have easily just not made the same game over and over again for a decade lol
Completely true. Re-skin most Nintendo 1st party games and they'd immediately fall 1-2 points in reviee score. They can make some amazing games but they also make more mediocre games passed off as great games than anyone.
lol
lolok
Yes, it's just a random view of mine and not gathered from the literal average made from dozens of reviews. Ya know, dozens of people that have also played it.
Yes, your one review is more valid than the consensus of dozens. Yes, I'm the asshole here.
The good thing about having a large backlog is that you get to play the games you want cheaply and after they've been updated as far as they're ever going to be.
I have full belief that this game is about what I predicted a year ago - a 6 or 7/10 type game. However, I'll eventually try it and hopefully it'll be much better experience after a year's worth of updating, patches, etc.
Metal Gear but that's already in the works.
Uncharted would transfer to film well, IMO.
A boss-run title could do well, IMO. Take a game like Bloodborne or Shadow of The Colossus and build an action piece around a VERY loose plot. SoTC would do particularly well here if done right. Protag that speaks very little brings dead love to a forbidden temple in order to bring her back. Temple god offers a deal that includes killing giant creatures, he takes i...
It's in spec development and the slated director has already talked with Kojima about the movie. Both already agreed that you can't make them anything like the games outside of the basic plot summary.
Still, Kojima couldn't be a part of it in an official capacity without Konami's blessing anyway.
Krispin Wah?
