I wish they would stop the teasing and give us the sequel in NA/ EU already :) I still check in on WKC from time to time, believe it or not the community is still strong.
Can't wait for WKC2. They made it even more MMOish too, which is great.
But it felt like a sloppy PC port. The animations were stilted, there were serious frame-rate issues and the effects were bland.
I had no intention of buying DA: 2 until the GOTY edition came out. The demo changed my mind. One of the only demos that has ever done that to me as a consumer - most of them turn me off buying :) They really streamlined and cleaned up EVERYTHING. Too many damn hacknslash and RPGS to buy. My wallet is on FIRE :)
Seriously, if you like J-hackn'slash both are excellent games. Trinity is definitely more of an RPG, KC is more of a straight up blood-fest.
I don't know which I like more, to be honest. I'll definitely get more hours out of Trinity though, so if its a value decision, go with that.
It's a lovely hackn'slash. Between this and Trinity: SoZO (and a couple more JRPGs), I'll be VERY occupied till Dungeon Siege and Elder Scrolls come out.
Awesome year for fantasy and J-fantasy games.
In the fanboy era (2006 and beyond) everything under 8 is an epic-fail, mega-flop.

I really loathe the whole reviewing process as it stands. Game looks fun. Played the demo? Watched some vids? Did you like what you experienced? Great. If you have $60 and like shooters, go ahead (I've budgeted for JRPGs this month, but to each their own).
This, horrific micro-transaction Hell:

Now make sure you all buy Grace F so that we can get Xillia over here! :)
They didn't gimp or cut anything for either platform. Shipped on 2 packed 360 discs, and was one of the prettiest and most enjoyable games I've played this gen.
Bring on the bam!

Less talk more generic Alien Invasion FPS #9879900 please, Crytek. Funny thing is that even with the multi-player as broken as it was in the beta (probably will ship in a similarly crippled state), because of the "AAA"ness and marketing, it'll get 9-10 across the board.
I hope everyone realizes that game reviews are funded primarily by marketing dollars. Heck IGN just merged with Gamestop. Soon we'll s...
There's an extended trailer you can grab off the JPSN btw. Worth checking out.
you half-wit. There's nothing to jailbreak. If he starts hacking the OS to run free copies of PS Suite and d/ling games, then he'll find himself back in court as that's a clear copyright violation.
LOL at all the idiots donating money to him to hack an open device (well its for his current legal fees, but also for that promise). L O L.

I don't know if he has another account for reviews, but he hasn't even played Trinity: Souls of Zill O'll according to this (but has played LBP2 to a whopping 2%).
Edit: @ kancer. Kotaku actually do decent reviews. No score, just information.
Edit #2: He does hav...
The problems with numerical review scores are multi-fold: the reviewer, the review system and the the consumer. In 99% of all cases, the people who read review scores skip right to the number and ignore the actual "meat" of the article.
I'm all for abolishing numerical scores and just having worded reviews. People might actually have to read, study and debate the merits and flaws of a game and decide whether it suits their tastes or not. Metacritic is one of...
Meaning that the hardware itself is still important in some regard; which includes aspects of price, form-factor, etc.. Let's read a bit more carefully next time before posting knee-jerk angry replies.
That's why Sony is releasing a tablet and smartphone too. The pièce de résistance is PlayStation Suite, of course. Future is about distribution and software, not so much the device.
Weak story (that you can still get into - the lore scattered about the world is quite intriguing), good graphics (though critics seems to be split on this), music and FANTASTIC hackn'slash and character building.
Personally, I don't find it "budget" as much as nostalgic. Keep in mind this game has been in development since basically the start of this gen, so its definitely PS2ish in terms of mechanics.
Just got to chapter 2 last night and ...
Rofl. Do you even have a PS3? How were you intending to - hypothetically - play or debate a game that you couldn't touch? All you have is a 360 tag linked to your profile. PM me your PSN ID and lets see your trophies.
Obvious troll is OBVIOUS.
All reviews are subjective. Your opinion however, is not even relevant considering you haven't touched the game and thus can not form an opinion on what is or is not factual and grounded in reality with regard to Trinity: Souls of Zill O'll. YOU HAVEN'T EVEN TOUCHED THE GAME OR LIKELY WATCHED A TRAILER AND YOU WANT TO DEBATE THE MERITS AND FLAWS OF IT. A bit ridiculous really. I am contesting that you should have such a strong opinion as to the quality of this game AT ALL, seein...
It'll definitely go on for a while, the comics cover quite a bit of ground.
Oh, and zombies are the new FPS it seems. Fun stuff though, and refreshing! Till the market saturation in 2014 :)
It accounts for, you know, the largest smartphone OS in the world. PS Suite will be on that. PS Suite will be on the tablet. PS Suite will be on the NGP. PlayStation as a brand across a variety of devices chosen based on consumer need.
Apple has made a fantastic product (the "quality" issue is subjective, I guess as their 4th gen phone had a crippling antenna issue and mine tends to freeze or dial people several times a day - has been replaced TWICE, make of that...
And I was dead set on not buying it till the GOTY version. I will be grabbing it. Between the Western and JRPGs out this year I'm frickin' broke.
