This game is the evolution of the Horror/surv - Psy/Horror genre.
A genre that is dominated by Xbox games since Dec-2005 and Condemned 1.
Yeah i discovered the new improvements while i was looking for my RE5 achievement progress and they are GREAT.
Now, one last thing that i want from Ms is to take the heck off the Multiplayer-Achievements (which is by far the most retard part of live) and replace them with LeaderBoards,Ratios etc
Once they do this, Xbox live will be the best Live service on the universe.

Halo is best Action-Fps ever in any platform in the same way that Half-Life is the best Adventure-FPS in any platform.
The difference is that you wont see Valve exploiting that much HL2 because they can't. And they can't because PC is not a closed/standard platform but an intermixture of countless similar platforms.

It will be a welcome change, however Epic needs to bring back the Survival-horror feeling of the first game. Its absence was the only let-down in Gears2, an otherwise perfect TPS.
Right now the difference between 360 and ps3 is about 8.4 million consoles and ps3 is selling in a lower rate than the original Xbox.
By the end of this year the gap will be bigger than 9 million consoles.
If Ms managed to outsell Sony's platform in the first half of the year (which is traditionally their most poor period in terms of sales), you can't even imagine what they will do to them during the holiday season--->(Rated M for Mature,Violent content)...
Both Killzone and Uncharted are overated graphically.
So there is not such think as "past victories" for ps3...
It seems that 2010 is going to be the most mature year in xbox360 life cycle.

"God Of War" was never a big seller, not even on ps2's huge install base, and the same goes for every H&S game.
Thus a H&S game can not reduce the sales of a good action adventure like SC:C.
Actually it can goes the other way around, Splinter Cell could easilly steal the thunder fro...
It looks great and certainly (knowing Remedy,their skills and their passion for perfection) is going to be the definitive Action Adventure of this generation.
...And also an excellent idea to release both Episodes in one disc.
I wasn't planning to download them cause i dont like DLC but now Im gonna buy them at day1.-

What you can buy (or not) with the same price as a Desctop GPU is completely irrelevant to my comment and i can't see why you mention it. Nobody said that Ms (or any other console manufacturer) will have to stick a PC-GPU in their box...

By the fall of this year we will have 2.4 TeraFlop GPUs.
Fall 2010: 4+ TeraFlop GPUs.
Fall 2011: 6+ Teraflop GPUs.
So if Ms wants, they will be able to release a new Xbox at fall 2011 with a 5 TeraFlop GPU. This means 20 times more raw power than Xenos. We are talking for a huge leap in Graphics/Physics!!!
The only one who doesn't want a new Xbox out at fall 2011 is Sony for obvious reasons...
Nobody said that it couldn't come to ps3.
Heck the original SC was possible to ps2 so who could said to opposite for ps3?
Now, how many graphical features would missing from the ps3 version, this is another lenghty discussion...
Even the 1 dvd "issue" could be avoided for the games who run in one disc.., If you have a Hard Disc to install them.
I wonder if ID will go Vs Halo Reach next fall or if they choose to push it a few months back in 2011 to avoid a simultaneous release.
Regardless, i ll buy the 360 version and one year later i ll be able to play it again on my xbox720 via Forward-Compatibility @ 1920x1080/4xAA...

MS: Since FY 2006 (release of XBOX360) MS has lost 2.7 billion$.
1 billion of them comes from "3years guarantees" and their gaming division is profitable since FY 2008.
SONY: Since FY 2007 (release of PS3) they have lost 3.6 billion$ despite the fact that PS2 is profitable. This means that the losses of the PS3 are even greater.
Oh! and ofcourse in contrast with the MS Game Givision, Sony's Game Division is still on the Red.
