Way to many big games are expected to be 1080p/60fps on ps4.
I wonder if this is because Sony and Devs want them to be "Morpheus Ready" with the instalation of a patch in the future...(?)
It seems that "the order" is going to be PS4's LAIR.
So far everything we've seen points to this presumption.
Crysis3 have alays looked like garbage -aside of a few impressive technical features- even before the release of nextgen consoles.
But after the last fall it looks like an outdated piece of dog crap in the technical department too...
The graphics and interaction surely look impressive (like on a high end pc).
The rendering resolution on the other hand...
Graphically it looks far worse than the ps4 version of the game.
Are you sure that this is the final retail copy and not a leaked beta version with most effects turned off ?
You "forgot" to post my next comment (obviously sarcastic) in reply to the article: "Sony Quietly Removes 1080p 60 FPS Mention from Official Pre-Order Website"
'Don't be fools! Its pretty obvious that, as the optimization process goes on, they aim for higher resolution.
4K @ 60fps is the new target. #69

You see wou may be a little selective and crafty with you quotes but you ...
So the vast majority of pc gamers will play a version of WD that looks like caca in comparison to the PS4 version.
It seems that for the average -not elitist- pcgamer its back again in being the poor relative of the industry for the next 3 to 4 years :)
Benchmark graphics and animations for an open world game. The city's trafick flow looks almost like real life footage or at least the closest think that i 've seen to the real life stuff.
Not exactly.. more than 90% of the pc gamers will play WD with ps360 quality of graphics (or slightly better).
This "scottish shower" is a kind offer by Sony and Ubisoft.

4K @ 60fps is the new target.
So ps4 will have the definitive version of WatchDogs: 1080p @ 60fps + extra missions.
Sony means business this time around.
This is my estimation:
1st year: 17-18m (13.5 months)
2nd year: 21-22m
3rd year: 24-25m
3Y total: 61-65m
Compute parallelism is not possible on traditional pc hardware because it doesn't have the architecture for this kind of tasks.
On pc, when you send actions to the GPU you are actually stealling the processing power from the GPU.
That's not the case with ps4.
Story sounds interesting and with a lot of potential.
Now, lets just hope that RAD won't join forces with "black reaction" like gorila games did...
Gaming APUs are about 50% faster (more efficient power) than traditional (pc)GPU architecture, without taking into account the extra performance boost that consoles can get from low level optimization.
On the other hand pc GPUs are getting more powerfull every single year while with a console you stick with the same hardware for 6 to 7 years. So pc hardware doesn't really need to be that efficient.
LOL, "The Crew" is an open-world racing game with Previous-Gen PC-like graphics.
At least try to find a Racer with really Next-Gen graphics before you attempt to compare it to DriveClub...
Best looking game if you are a pc only gamer, which means a poor relative when it comes to racing games..
Let's not fool yourselves here: DriveClub will be BY FAR the best looking racing game in any platform for 2014.-
(however i have to admit that PC has some great looking car models)
IMO Guerrilla is the definition of what some people call "golden mediocrity". They have made 4 killzone games and not one of them is memorable, just pretty graphics.
I think that back on 2005 sony did a big mistake with the acquisition of GG. They should had gone for Remedy instead..
So far the PS4 version is the 99% of the pc version on ultra settings. Something that was expected as developers unlock more of the PS4's hardware capabilities.
