i'm going to sell my 60GB backwardscompatible recently replaced UK PS3 and buy a PS3 slim :)!!! altho im going to wait for a october to make sure that the PS3 slim doesn't have problems! don't get me wrong, i have faith in sony i do!! but you never know!
if the guys of PCSX2 can do it by reverse engineering demos, sony will be able to do it with ease since they know exactly how the games work, and how the ps2 works.. tbh.. i think PS2 backwards compatibility coming through the PSN is inevitable. It's just something sony doesn't want to lose out on.. if it doesn't come before sony stops supporting the PS2, it will most certainly after Sony stops PS2 support

i am not sure yet, but i might sell my PS3 60GB (with PS2 backwards compatibility and recently replaced by Sony) to get a PS3 Slim one! i never use the PS2 backwards compatibility so it's cool with me!!
what's stopping me from going to Best Buy (not that I can seeing as I live in the UK, but hypothetically speaking) going to a best buy store, get a free game, go home, put the game down, go to best buy again (maybe different one) and keep going till i have a large amount of games that i can start my own business?
