I agree. I often don't feel like I've purchased anything unless I can see it sitting their on my shelf. Although, I have an easier time with digital distribution of games than books. For reason that just really rubs me the wrong way.

I have no issue with casual gamers. Honestly, the more people playing games in any capacity the more mainstream gaming as a whole will become and to a point that's a good thing.

I actually think he kind of got it. For the major genre's I find it rather pointless to play a Wii game when I can generally count on their HD counterparts to be better. The only hardcore game I've really found worth it in terms of the Wii was Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn and even then, that is about as niche as it gets.
Perhaps it's just because some people enjoy the game but really do value a solo experience over that of a multiplayer one, even if the game is supposed to be built as an MMO.
I honestly haven't missed sex in Red Dead Redemption, nor did I ever use it much in GTA.
You need only listen the Final Countdown to understand why addings keyboards to just about anything is a bad idea.
I like what Atlus has been doing with this recently. Like how Trauma Team and 3D Dot Game Heroes. Both priced at around $40 rather than the standard prices as something of an admission that they're niche.
Can't judge a book by its cover. I heard the iPhone version is actually pretty good.
I always loved the one in Mario 3 where you can get inside the giant boots. Don't know why, it just kicked ass.
Last year was pretty good. Seeing the new motion controls this year should be interesting.
The anime sucks. No doubt about it. Game is still pretty fun, though any other franchise (cept maybe Monster Hunter) would have been reamed out by now for recycling the same gameplay so many times.

Have it and like it to an extent. The controls are really clunky and the camera has led to more than a few frustrating deaths. Around and 8/10 sits right with me.

Am I the only one who fondly remembers how the original GameBoy went on for like ten years without a real replacement? Sure there were upgrades and such, but nothing like this. The 3DS just seems stupid to me. Just Nintendo trying to cash in on the latest gimmick.
