Of course it is, this Battlefield game was made for every possible average Joe to jump into. It was intentionally made very accessible, while having the depth of a small puddle.

Unfortunately, MS is doing the usual tactic it always does, which is locking away another DX to make people upgrade. It's entirely possible to include more OS's in the mix, but that wouldn't make people go to the ''shiny new OS''.

With that said, Vulkan prides itself with making it possible on either 7, 8 or 10.

I very rarely buy AAA games, due to various reasons like being unfinished or making people pay for tap water (MT's / DLC) in large quantities. Especially the likes of Ubi, EA, Capcom, etc is blacklisted.

It's much simpler to just wait for a more complete edition, and reward those that actually create a game being worth something at launch.

Oh, and games with more than a minor amount of bugs should be rewarded, because it just ''adds to the exp...

What, you're saying one of the more unique sites on here is too lewd? I see nothing wrong with what they're doing, besides, it's still like any other review / reporting of something.

Sarcasm or wink, your comment is spot on. Lara Croft is being used to fight a war that's not her own, but the writer's.

She's dead as far as a tomb raiding character is concerned. The good old confident and sexy tomb raider is no more.

As much as i support leaks about terrible things, and not being in constant fear of the almighty publishers, Kotaku is a site that should be erased from the ínternet. Not only that, because the writers on that site should be avoided elsewhere as well.

For the most part, it's scary to watch how the media is being controlled by higher ups.

Yeah, i'm not exactly fond of decision making for the sake of having it. It either changes very little, or they just retcon it to what the developer feels is the correct way.

I'd rather they just focus on a single branch instead, if that's what their intent is.

Bioware and decision making? Hmm, that can only go the wrong way.

As long as they keep defending it, or putting them in, i'm just not going to buy their games. That's just the harsh truth from my side, because i won't accept the degenerating nature of the current gaming industry. If there's any game that seems good amongst these infected games, i'll just wait for a cheaply priced complete edition.

In other words, they can have two middle fingers from me.

I always felt like it was only a matter of time with Take Two / Rockstar, while other people seemed naive and thought, that they were amazing and could do no wrong.

In the last generation and this one, they've shown their more aggressive and exploitative nature, so maybe that changes now.

Honestly, the correct word for Greenlight is Junkyard. The good to bad ratio of games is awful, and so it seems to never change.

It's unfortunate that a sequel never got released. The game definitely had potential, but i guess it just wasn't popular enough for Disney.

BS, they're already struggling with what's on offer as it is. The famous ''optimization' 9; excuse that used to fly before, is not the same this generation, considering the consoles are closer than ever to a PC.

In other words, the demos they've been showing off is hyping up unrealistic expectations, and you shouldn't expect it to actually happen.

Whatever would we do without some lewdness in our lives. It gives people more options for the game, just like we have in our daily lives.

Unfortunately, the last game i remember being made with future proofing in mind, was Crysis. No one says you can't develop the game for a wide range of PC's, but you can most definitely put in features that were meant for a time ahead as well.

Currently the power needed to run games more efficiently, is up to the likes of DX10 / Vulkan giving developers more possibilities. If the Vulkan hype is what it seems to be, then maybe DX10 could be cut out of the picture almos...

It's most definitely parity that holds back the potential of a fully develped PC version, because they have to develop the game for multiple platforms. If we ( ever ) arrive at a unified system to develop games on, that'll change because tips and tricks from developers will be useful to them all. Companies like Bethesda also need to ditch Gamebryo, because it's sorely outdated in the current industry.

But then again, such change is up to the market informing thems...

Even if some MMO appears on Steam, i'll always choose the version available from the official site, just like i did with FFXIV. Infact, players recommended to not get the Steam version.

Starcraft: Ghost. Instead of a full game, they're just creating DLC packs for Nova in Starcraft 2.

The possibilities for a Stealth / Action game with Nova are pretty high, but i guess Activision Blizzard just can't see that.

It should be 5 years, 6 max if any longer. 7 - 8 years is way too long, and it's just one of the reasons progress has been so slow.

It's no wonder developers have already noticed, that they simply didn't get enough to work with.
