They are both cover-based third person shooters. The pacing will be different, though, and there will be a platforming element in Uncharted's multiplayer.
I love both Gears and Uncharted, and I really hope that Uncharted 2's mp will be great. Beta's coming up...
Based on game sales, it seems that the majority of PS3 owners only watch movies on their PS3's...
But I doubt that this will be MS's biggest announcement. It probably won't be an announcement at all. It's just speculation.
but very few have mics, so it is not as obvious. Plus most of the people online who act like this are just trying to get attention.
I'm sure a few exceptionally prejudiced people will refuse to buy this due to the name and possibly the content, but I personally feel that it will be great. This really seems like a creative direction Rockstar's going, and we really can't judge how the game will be until they announce more than just the name.
Maybe "gay tony" ...
Those guys who actually played the game must be wrong. Demos and betas are much better indications of how good the final game is.
I suspect they just CG'd his face into the movie since he didn't have any lines. It would be terrible if he took time out of running one of the largest states for a movie cameo...
except for very small differences. The very small difference in graphics is stupid to get in a huge debate about. I own both Uncharted and Killzone 2, and while they look great, they are not so good that they are superior to games with slightly worse graphics. I personally like several other shooters over K2, and Uncharted... well, that game and GeOW are about equal in my eyes.
So basically, the game will work fine on the 360, and from what I've seen so far, it will be aweso...
Are you willing to part with any of the codes? I'll pay you in bubbles.
The quality filter isn't doing it's job. This article is trash.
not Cerberus. Cerberus is just a secret mercenary group that had a small role in the first Mass Effect game and a large role in the second ME novel. I feel that they will play a larger role in the second game, but I don't get why OXM seems to think that Shepard is chasing the group. They aren't related to the Reapers at all.
I'm looking at you, RustedMan... ; )
But yeah, the Halo maps are definitely worth the money. They are really good.
because I really didn't think that I would like it. When I borrowed/stole it from a friend, though, I loved it. Amazing game. This game looks better in nearly every way to the first, so it's a must-buy for me. Assuming I can afford it with all the other awesome games coming out this year.
but this game really doesn't look good at all. I don't really think that the Source engine is completely outdated yet, but it's extremely close, and companies need to take full advantage of it in order to make a good game. Just look at Left 4 Dead. Awesome game using Source engine. That was Valve, though.
That's actually not how it happened at all. It's not like you save someone and they're suddenly like "let's have sex... NAO!!!".
You have to talk with them multiple times to slowly get them to like you more, thereby opening up the so-called "porn" scene. Sure it doesn't help the plot at all, but it's completely optional anyway.
I definitely wouldn't say it's badly done.
I understand that music is completely based on taste, and no one really has a good or bad taste in music, but personally I would love to hear more metal in games. It's one of my favorite genres and I feel that it's used way too little. It's all about taste, though, and many people prefer the music as it is now. Not a big deal.
except for Valkyria Chronicles. I have been meaning to buy that game, and now is the best chance I'll probably get.
'Cause it might actually happen. ; )
It's hard to deny that the majority of PS3 owners have bad or no taste in games. I personally have an amazing taste in games and bought Killzone 2 on opening day.
FEAR 2 didn't do as good as Killzone 2 because the latter is an overall better and more hyped game. The graphics alone don't make or break a game. The gameplay is just as important, and as long as Mass Effect 2 stays relatively true to the first, it will be a hit even if it's graphics are the same.
Crysis is a prime example of why games aren't great just because of their graphics. The visuals were the best, but the game as a whole failed in many other areas. Killzone, howev...
but it still looks great. The same is true for the Unreal engine, which is used in a large percentage of games this gen. I personally think it's a great graphics engine, and the pop-ins don't really bother me at all. It doesn't take away from the gameplay.
Mass Effect 2 will be awesome no matter how good or bad the graphics are, and if they are anything like the last installment, I'll be just fine.
it will not be made by Bungie. They have all but confirmed that their next game will be non-Halo, which is great. I'm interested to see what new stuff they'll come up with.
