I'm looking forward to this game, but I could care less if it's exclusive or not. I want a release date!
I loved the first one despite the repetition, and the story, complete with a crazy cliffhanger, really makes me want to continue the series.
It sucks that it costs so much, but if it is that long and gets me back into GTA, that's a price I'm willing to pay. Assuming I'm not in the middle of another game at the time.
I was like, "Hey, why are the Combine in this game. This isn't Half-Life 2!" I now understand their differences, but I still say the Combine are cooler.

It goes both ways, unfortunately. People just don't like seeing negative things about their console of choice. How do you think I feel? I'm surrounded by negative news for both of my consoles of choice. But seriously, I'm pretty sure both sides predicted loss when they started this gen. And if MS can lower the price of the xbox in this situation, then Sony can lower that of the PS3.
Hopefully they'll take advantage of this in the game. I wasn't too fond of Killzone 1's story, though I am intrigued by the universe as a whole.
I like my avatar, but I don't really care that it's largely useless. I'm just glad it doesn't force me to use it in any games. I am, however, interested in the games for avatars, though I don't feel like purchasing one. Whatever happened to Primetime?
DLC is not always multiplayer stuff. Many games like Oblivion, Fable 2, and Mass Effect have single player dlc. My guess is that RE5 dlc will be secret missions or something.
I definitely don't mind. Whether it's extra multiplayer maps or new missions and story, I love adding new life to the games I already have as opposed to buying new ones.
This gen it's not a matter of whether or not a game will have dlc, but how good the dlc will be.
But honestly I don't think anything major would happen if the game was ported to the PS3. A bunch of PS3 owners would get to enjoy this amazing game. Not a huge deal. It should still happen, though, but it probably won't.

I'm not saying that any of the games will be bad, just that there's always the possibility. Let's just say we'll enjoy playing all of these games.

Anyway, you can't compare LBP and Gears, as they are completely different games. I own both, and I respect the pros and cons of each.

This has been going on since the XBL vision camera was released. I'm surprised they just noticed it. I've been fortunate enough to have missed out on this phenomenon, but my friends have told me some truly horrible stories.
It seems that in every article there's a PS3 fanboy saying that Killzone 2 is better than whatever game is being discussed. Occasionally there is a 360 fanboy who makes some remark about Killzone 2. I get it. The game will be great. Now stop talking about it in unrelated stories.
And how can Killzone 2 be better than Halo Wars? They're completely different genres. I, for one, will probably get both.
I don't really get the hate. When the game first game out, there was no one who said it was a bad game. It was praised by everyone. Then one day they all decided that they didn't like the game anymore. It would be alright if they actually said that they did at one point love the game yet ultimately got tired of it. Being the mature gamers that they are, everyone just pretended that they never liked the game in the first place. I don't get it.
