Why the hell is Journey pictured? Journey ain't indie.
Thank you for the oppertunity and Happy Easter.
US.
Uncharted 3, easily.
I think it bucked the trope of earlier installments by having the story be about the treasure hunter and not the treasure itself. The story itself is also pretty damn deep and mature, didn't think something in this medium would tackle things like doubt and selfworth.
Lastly, I like how Uncharted 3 kept you in control and seemed to turn over less to cutscenes like UC2 did. UC2 told most of its story via cutscene and just let you play t...
Oh...yes.
Justin Davis is f#cking crazy. If anything Uncharted 3 is underrated.
Same for MM.
Still haven't played it but I found out at E3 that the beginning of TloU was designed by the same person who designed the desert chapter(18) in uncharted 3. Here to hoping its as great.
08 Sony was terrible. Sony brought it in '09 and everything after.
Only on Xbox*
*For a time.
Need both kinds of experiences IMHO.
Nice read.
I agree with this.
I did enjoy 95% of ME3, but even then, Journey is the best thing released this year.
Exactly, Muzyka and Zeschuk were always just the "money". The talent is still there.
I think he is specifically refering to "complex" gameplay, not just basic walk or jump.
I don't think one should replace the other, however, I do feel that their should be room for both.
Journey and Chapter 18 of Uncharted 3 moved me in ways I never thought this medium could. Those experiences seemed to make the medium a lot more serious. It would not have been enjoyable at all if I had to pull of some kind of combo.
So Journey is dead gameplay? My bad, I should have remembered most people want to shut off their brains and just use their thumbs...
I see his point and agree. If Journey was bogged down with "Gameplay" it would have lost its touch.
Yeah, since I can totally interact with that movie...
Same guy who gave Uncharted 3 an 8/10...bastard.
Not as noticeable as they make them out to be.
I think some of you are getting a little too hung up on the word itself and not the attitude and identity the article is actually about.
