What are you talking about ?? xvi's 2nd dlc just came out and xiv's new expansion comes out in a couple months . They've been feeding us good . A triple dose of FF in a span of a few months which is basically consuming a majority of my gaming time for the rest of the year.
It's a good game , never played the sequels but the first stands as great as a singular experience . Would you like a vhs or a bluray quality of a movie you like . Did we need remakes of Links Awakening, Super Mario rpg, Demons Souls, Shadow of the Colossus Etc etc no but I'm sure glad we did . Honestly it's probably one of the handful of worthy EA games that are worth a remake
If any Metroid game should get the honor it should be Super Metroid , it's perfection in my eyes . 30 years later and I still feel it's the most epic shit ever .
ya gonna have to agree , I'm basically 72hrs in and on my last objective in Coral and have 100% everything up to that point and I'm only lv35 . Only logical thing I can think of is if he's talking about the beginning flashback scene where you're level 40 for some reason and grinded a couple levels during it .
I would play it but that would mean I'd also have to resub to ps+ which I haven't wanted to renew since the price increase . They really need a super basic version where it's mainly for the online features for like $50y , like 95% of the monthly offering I just have no interest in and can't justify paying more for them especially the last few months to draw me back in.

I personally think Mega Man deserves some attention , like Legends or a new 3d concept sorta open world or sandbox future city with crazy boss battles . Something reimaged for modern day

Yes you should , it won't take long to beat if you play the remastered version since you can put on No random battle, x3 speed mode and infinite health/mana/limit break if you mainly just want the story . If you've ever seen the ReBuild series of Evangelion it's kinda the same thing where it's a retelling of the original but goes off in a different path at the same time . It's cool to see the differences
Besides the first trailer they released , I've avoided everything related to it like the plague. The demo if it comes out it will be no exception.

I hope they try something new , maybe a crpg this time around . A Pillars of eternity style of game or BG3 ( although I haven't played it yet) . They've done turned based with plenty of variation , mmo , tactical , action , action turned based hybrid . It;d be cool to have your decisions in game mean something with different endings . I'd like to be the bad guys for once in a FF game haha
Sega screwed themselves by trying to extend the life of the genesis with add-ons like Sega-cd and 32x and then shadow dropping the Saturn which royally pissed off consumers and retailers alike , by the time Dreamcast came out it was already too late for for them . Their failure had nothing to do with Sony.

Maybe but horizon is very heavy in resource gathering and crafting for 3 out of 4 you mentioned , imagine having to craft for an hour everytime you have to engage in fights. I can only imagine them making a online store just to buy resources to pay to progress and win . Don't have time to farm .... just buy from market place lol
Between FF7 rebirth, FF14 Dawntrail and FF16 dlc I'm gonna be eating good this year :D anything else would just be icing on the cake. Hopefully we'll get some DQ12 news
Looks good , i've always loved vampire themed games. Can't wait till it hits ps5
