Whoops, lol. You're right. I knew that, too. No idea what I was thinking when I wrote that. Maybe Capcom's SF2:HDR is on my brain too much right now.

News must be slow right now in the gaming industry. Why else are we getting 'new' news based on something that happened over a month ago?

Um, in what other interviews?

Not there.

Not there, either. In fact, that one supports what I said. The 360's dev will begin when the localization for the PS3 starts. You know what that word means, right? Localization... ...

"Hashimoto: I'd rather they not think of this as a "betrayal" or disappointment. It's not like we're cancelling or delaying the PS3 version at all! It's more of an added bonus for 360 fans. We won't be putting them at a disadvantage in any way."

I've never understood where it came from that the PS3 version's US release would be held back until the 360 version was ready to be released. In the interviews I've read, no SE rep has ever said that. To me, it see...

I think it's even more evident with traditional Japanese devs trying to incorporate the western market more. Look at what SE is doing. To me, even Capcom's Valkyrie Chronicles has a western feel to it. As the Japanese culture shifts more and more toward handhelds, it seems dev on consoles are going for a western approach.

3: Dev costs are HUGE man. Dev teams love being able to make a game, without costs to them, and they're guaranteed to get money. In life, it usually takes money to make money. Especially from a business perspective. There's risk for reward. Eliminating costs so they gain an immediate profit is a very tempting thing, I'd imagine. Would you be stupid enough to turn down free money?

4: For the most part, that's right. However, in your dev cost scenario, your point here co...

How many JRPGS reach AAA outside of the FF series? I'm talking about last get, too. In terms of AAA status, PS2 had FFX and FFXII, that's it. Persona 3 and DQ VIII were close, but miss that coveted 90 cutoff point. I'm just pointing this out because you can't say a genre is dying based on its AAA scores this gen when the only series that really gets AAA scores hasn't come out yet.

The truth of the matter is that the JRPG market is flooded by games with mediocre review score...

O.o Another bubble party?! Yay! I love bubble parties! Don't they make you feel so bubbly! Bubbles for all!

And I agree, not everything has to be news for it to instill a healthy discussion. So long as it's not passed off as such, I see no problem with it. It's be nice if Sony let us customize the colors of the icons/text at the very least.

I'd be happy if you could go to each icon and change its appearance from a vast assortment of preselected shapes/sym...

NFS: Most Wanted and Carbon were the last two good ones in the series. Pro Street and beyond are garbage.

As I stated earlier, canceling cards does hurt your credit rating.

What builds up good credit? Paying monthly bills like credit card payment, loans, etc. Holding a job for an extended period of time. While it won't necessarily hurt your score to get a new job, it may affect whether or not you get a certain loan if you've just gotten a new one without good reason.

Hard credit checks will lower your score. This is anytime a business checks your credit rating fo...

Lol @ your disagree. Apparently someone knows nothing about credit, eh?

Canceling a credit card reduces your available assets in the eyes of the credit bureau. This, in turn, lowers your credit rating. That's why he said never cancel, just cut it up and move on.

@First
Imo, Valkyrie Profile, with its highly outdated graphics, is better than any RPG to ever grace an XBOX console, regardless of the gen. Before you go talking about a game I doubt you know anything about, you need a PS1 and about 100 - 170 dollars to buy the game itself. It's a cult classic now and sells at a high price. Gimme a grand and I might part with my copy. :P

@Raoh
Yeah, I hear ya. The game is well made. I'm not going to downtalk the quality. ...

This is stupid. Dark Elves in WoW are a very powerful race. Most of the bigger badass characters don't even resemble humanoids in many MMOs and come in the form of dragons/wyrms.

If FFXI, the Dynamis Lord is black and requires an alliance to take down. None of the little white characters could possibly solo him.
So, one could conclude black = extreme power.

In bowling a black ball knocks down all of the white rednecked pins. In pool the white ball kn...

Actually, Spanish translates to English well. It's just a crappy website translation.

@below

You're wrong. English widely considered the most complex language. Do you even know why?

Sound out the following words:

Go
So
To

The vowels have no real consistency unlike the vast majority of all other languages in the world, including Spanish. Much of the English language involves rule sets mixed in with mem...

First just embodied the definition of hypocrisy. He's never pointed the finger at a PS3 fanboy for saying, "Well, it's because we got _____." Now, when it's flipped, the 360 lost in sales because of Gears 2 and Fable 2 were more important. Hmm, I guess it does go both way, eh? Every fanboy does it.

I honestly didn't care for Valkyrie Chronicles. I rented it, played it, realized it wasn't my cup of tea in terms of storytelling or gameplay, and took it back. The gameplay really killed it for me. Different strokes, I guess.
