I thought it was going to be an all time list, but I think they were trying to go with more current games. Either way, the list is trash. Putting games on it that aren't even out yet is just stupid. Not to mention Persona 3 was much better than several of the games on that list...I guess games on last gen systems don't count.
Honestly, I think the graphics look a little bland. I expected a little more from SE than that. It looks fairly comparable to FFXII to me in terms of visual appeal. Nothing striking about it. I hope they tweak it a little before its actual release. I will definitely wait to hear more before making any decisions.
Just because some people disagree doesn't necessarily make them a fanboy (though I'm sure they're there as well). I disagree because it's only been two years. They have plenty of time to turn a nice hefty profit. Who knows who will 'win' the console war this gen. To some degree, I bet all they care about is making boatloads of money and I'm sure all three will.

I agree. Even with 360 as well, albeit to a lesser degree, I think some of the immersion quality has been lost in the games because devs have had to put more focus into learning to write on the consoles. Code writing it a lot more arduous a task than it once was.

Wii: Profitable from the start. Nintendo made money on every Wii sold since its release and it's the highest selling console right now.
360: MS are making money on each console sold now. I'm sure they finally made back what they lost on the whole RRoD fiasco. Sales not devasting by any means, but steady nonetheless.
PS3: Console not really profitable as of yet. Several reports estimate that Sony has lost more money on the PS3 than it made on the PS2.
