You also have heat issues to deal with that are far greater than you would get in a PC. If they push everything at max for too long it will get too hot.
not impossible, but unprofitable. There just aren't enough people interested in most old games to make it worth while
Exactly, if you've sold your old console then don't whine about not being able to play your old games.
@Vegamyster
You are correct, except for a certain fruit flavoured phone maker that does screw over their customers by changing many times the actual cost difference if you want a phone with more storage, and of course do not support a microSD slot so that you have no other options
Though as an optional accessory it would be unlikely to get broad support
They shouldn't need to say any of this, it should just be taken for granted. But you need only read some of the comments here to see why it's important to say it.
Normal people don't concern themselves with other people's gender identity or sexual preferences.
I don't believe them, no one rages harder than Kratos
Playing catch up? With HDMI, bluray, SPDIF and wifi in the original version, unlike the xbox that didn't get any of those until the elite version 2 years later, and the failed HD DVD later on. The 360 wasn't even designed as an HD console, you can tell by some of the stupid chip design decisions, as well as lacking any form of digital output.
I recall how people were saying HD wasn't going to get mass adoption for many years. But they were of course wrong. But S...
@Sitdown
Yes the PS3 couldn't launch earlier as they had been waiting for HDMI and Bluray specs to be finalised.
It looks like some sort of BDSM simulator from the name and thumbnail for the video.
Given Microsofts track record of screwing previously good studios I think the hands off approach is better. But then there is also their very long track record of screwing up large acquisitions so it all may be doomed either way
I just don't get that mentality. in every game where I can collect things I end up with hundreds or even thousands of items, and yet I typically use the same tiny subset of them. I certainly would never pay real money for useless items that I will never use.
As a software developer for over 3 decades I can tell you that having tools to make things easier just means that you're willing to do things that are much more difficult. The total time spent is around the same, we're just doing things that wouldn't have been feasible before.
But what's the big deal? So what if you miss it, cosmetic items are unimportant and any special weapons or armor will soon be superceded by something new
Kill zone 2 multi-player was excellent, but with 3 they started listening to the whining COD players.
or just change the zoom setting on your tv
Perhaps you would prefer that Sony endlessly rehash their franchises like Nintendo does.
@Babadook7
Wow, you really have drunk the koolaid haven't you
I never used it much but it seems a natural fit for VR, so maybe we will see this launch alongside the next Sony VR headset
