You can see they are trying for the humour and charm of the films, but at least from this trailer they seem to have missed the target.

Sony already tried this about 7 years ago when they had PS Now running on both Sony and competitors TVs. It never took off despite Playstation being a far bigger brand worldwide than Xbox could ever dream of.

The words 'logic' and 'xbox naming' don't really belong in the same sentence.

@Zeref

Attending a conference as a major exhibitor can easily cost millions. I've been to many of the worlds biggest tech conferences as an exhibitor and everything is outrageously expensive. It's not E3 that makes the big money, it's the conference centres, hotels, airlines etc.

Just setting up a large exhibit area will cost 100's of thousands or more. And then big exhibitors send dozens of people. I've personally gone with over 100 ...

PS3 at $599 was a bargain, people were just whiney about it

Yup, only 26c today, so much colder than the 32c of yesterday /s

I'd much rather have the cold than the heat.I can go out in -30c, just dress properly. But yesterday at +32c was just miserable and there's nothing you can do about it other than stay inside or stay in the water.

Not that we ever get -30c where I live anymore, that hasn't happened in 40 years. Even going below -20c in the dead of winter is far less common than it once was

You probably get more snow in PA than we do where I am in Southern Ontario. We rarely get a good snowfall any more. I think I shovelled snow 3 times last year.

And the real cold doesn't last anymore, we went from freezing to 30c in the span of 2 weeks

Actually it makes perfect sense. They will recoup costs plus a nice profit much faster selling into an install base of well over 100 million vs one that is less than 20 million. Therefore the price can be lower

We are on the verge of commercially viable solid state batteries (FINALLY!). I don't know how easily recyclable they will be, but they contain far fewer dangerous materials so it won't be as much of a problem.

@sinsprit

No the problem is not that Hydrogen is extremely flammable, gasoline is extremely flammable and more dangerous than hydrogen when it does catch fire.

The problem is almost all down to storage. Once you can efficiently store enough Hydrogen in a car to give you range comparable to gasoline and not have it take up half the trunk then it become viable. The rest of the problems are much easier to solve.

Well Tesla cars are such crap quality that they need to add on such gee-whiz features to distract you from that fact.

it's for work, so I don't get to pick a vendor, not without a lot of hassle. Likewise I can't build it as my time is more expensive than buying one already made

Even ordering a PC may not help. I was just looking at ordering an Alienware R10 with a Ryzen 9 5950x and a 6800 xt as I need a lot of cores for my current project and even that wouldn't arrive until late July. I'd be better off building it, it will be faster.

It's not an excuse, just facts. Problems with Amazon orders are all on them, problems with a third party constructing a building for Amazon can't reasonably by pinned on Amazon.

Even without Covid I doubt they could have hit 24m. It takes a while to ramp up production, and they wouldn't want to overdo it as initial demand is usually much higher than the ongoing demand.

You know Amazon don't run their construction projects right?
