Releasing this on the PS3 in Japan is a very good move, though I doubt releasing it on PS3 in america would significantly increase sales. I still hope it does, though I don't think there is a very large market for that game there. None of the past tales games with the exception of Symphonia, have cracked 500k in the states.
Fans complain about some of the stupidest things sometimes. As long as the system works is all that should really matter.
Despite my dislike for strategy rpgs, I'm going to have to try this one out. I did enjoy the demo, but I haven't had the time to sink into this one on top of all the other games I'm playing.
These guys are some of the best in the industry when it comes to crafting stories in games. Hopefully they'll leak some details about Mass Effect 2.
I loved the first game, but this one sounds like it has a lot more going for it. The night and day transition is a needed addition and the ability to fly sounds absolutely awesome!
This is probably one of the dumbest movie ideas I have ever heard. The budget for this would have to be astronomical to even come close to portraying the awe that the player feels when battling the colossi. The character in the game also has zero lines. All he does is ride around the countryside, exterminating colossi, rinse and repeat. There is absolutely no material for a script. Why would they even need a writer? I wonder why Sony would let this revered property be turned into something so...
Nah, they still suck as they only stock games based on number of pre-orders, and they'll constantly hound you to pre-order other games. I stick to the net or a larger retailer.
I think a new PSP announcement would be cool. I just don't know if portable technology has increased enough to the point where it would be significantly better than the PSP is now. I do believe touch-screen functionality would enhance it's gameplay however. I really love my DS for all the great innovative games it gets, but I hate the low power of the system. Imagine playing a game like Zelda Phantom Hourglass or The World Ends With You with PSP caliber graphics. That would be awesome.

The one with the huge sliding screen looks cool, but it also looks like it would be extremely uncomfortable to hold. The one with the extensions looks the most practical, but is far too similar to the current design. Besides how sturdy would those extensions be? I think they should keep the same design as the current psp, except add a second analog nub.
I must have gotten lucky as I didn't experience this glitch. I did skip the majority of the side missions though, if that has anything to do with it.
America counts as part of the world no? Has the ps3 surpassed the total sales of xbox360? I don't think so.
Was there ever someone making a case that the PS3 was the underdog this gen? In my opinion the wii is the underdog and managed a huge upset.

This guy doesn't sound like he knows what he's talking about. While I was disappointed by FFX, the critics and the general fanbase loved it. Same with FFXII except the fanbase was divided.
Though to be honest all I've seen of Versus is movies. It looks interesting but I want some details about this game!
I wasn't even aware of the option to use motion control to aim the sniper rifle. It might have helped.
I remember blowing quarters on NEOgeo fighters at the local Circle K. It seems every time I had a little money, I'd go down there and attempt to beat King of Fighters.
I'm liking this transition to a more action oriented combat style. Blade & Soul and Mabinogi Heroes look awesome!
