I really respect this website for putting the entire list on a single pages. Thank you.
A Quantic Dream trailer is probably the worst company to pick for a bad example of cinematic trailers since Quantic Dream games are by nature extremely cinematic and not super interactive.
Detroit will probably look and feel pretty close to the trailer and the game's focus will be all about story so why not have a trailer that focuses on story.
Matterfall would have been a much better main example because there's no way that game will look or play anything ...
I'm hoping they'll have good games for November and December in hopes of incentivizing more people to buy PS4s and PS Plus this holiday.
I couldn't get past the first boss after several tries, turned it off and I'm doubtful that I'll pick it back up again.
It was ok.
Paris games week was solid but i think E3 topped it.
E3 had the great reintroduction of Last Guardian. The reveal of Horizon, Final Fantasy 7, Dreams and Shenmue 3.
Plus they had that incredible footage from Uncharted 4.
The first twenty- thirty minutes of Paris Games Week were pretty terrible where as E3 started off with a bang (TLG) and kept on going. Paris Games Week didn't announce as many games but it did have the benefit of showing ...
The first thing the mystical powers in multiplayer reminded me of was Super Smash bros. The fold out totem pole was very reminiscent of a pokeball.
Now that's how you do a floating sidekick AI. Take note Destiny.
I really think No Man's Sky is going to launch simultaneously with PSVR. I can't think of any other reason why the release date keeps being withheld beyond they don't know the PSVR release date yet. The game has looked pretty done for awhile. Hopefully it's super polished after all these years.
Actually Sega is a much more profitable company now that they're out of the hardware game.
Seems like a missed opportunity. They could have just waited and then released the full retail game for free on PS Plus during the Holiday months as a small incentive to encourage more PS4 purchases/PS Plus subscriptions. There's enough paid Drive Club DLC that they still could have made a fat chunk of change off the game plus it would have garnered some additional good will.
What AAAs did they announce for this holiday? We'd already known about Tomb Raider, Halo 5 and Forza 6 for months (in some cases, years).
And Nintendo fans will say that E3 didn't happen this year.
Or "Dreams" for that matter. Love it, hate it or be utterly confused by it but "Dreams" is undeniably experimental.
I wonder how much money a Sony developed crash bandicoot kickstarter would make...
I'd be surprised if NX doesn't come out holiday 2016 with a port of the new Zelda and likely the main-series 3d Mario people have been waiting for since Galaxy 2.
The longer Nintendo waits to release their next console the more likely they'll be caught in the same generational gap they were with the Wii U. Nintendo needs to pump out a console that's affordable (300-400) and at least on par with current systems so that they can get back into the Third Party gam...
It will if a new console means processing power at least on par with current gen and a more developer friendly architecture allowing for easier ports.
Space hookers confirmed?
If possible, Sony needs to figure out a way to integrate a Morpheus option into all first person Games. No Man's Sky seems like the most obvious opportunity.
I predict this game will lead to some of the most terrifying imagery gamers have ever experienced haha. "Dreams" will lend itself well to nightmares. The game reminds me of the 1985 claymation film, "the adventures of Mark Twain."
I'm interested to see more of this game. Media Molecule's creativity is on a whole other level.
A 2016 red dead sequel announcement is far more likely than the announcement of a new GTA.
