Can we even compare? MS buying the biggest 3rd party publisher to Sony buying one developer?

Hmmm can’t think this excites many PS players. They’re all about narrative-driven exclusives.

But they said they’re going to remain multi platform.

“Fanboys will be fanboys” before coming out with a blatant fanboy comment. Can’t you just see the funny side here?

Just wow - can’t believe all these games will be day 1 gamepass! If you’re a gamer you’d be mad not to be subscribing.

Wow, what a day for GP subscribers on January 20th!

Honest question - aren’t PS owners getting abit frustrated paying full price for the same product? I know I would be.

Don’t care mate, it could be day and date on the PS5 and it wouldn’t change my excitement for it.

Honestly, some of you lot live and die on exclusives.

I’m bummed because I’m excited for it, not because it’s an exclusive.

Regardless, happy for them to take their time. It did Halo Infinite the world of good.

Not really, the revenue they make back in the long term will most likely fund future GTAs.

Makes sense, Microsoft clearly want parity between PC and Xbox, so their games will get released on both platforms soon or later.

If it sold so well then why did the director come out a few months back begging people to buy the game?

865d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

Lots of previews claiming Hellblade 2 will come out this year - think that’s a stretch to be honest. Ninja Theory is a small studio working on multiple projects.

Personally I think there are more likely to be unannounced games that will make 2022 instead (bit like last year with Forza).

It’s really not mate - PS is definitely more popular in Europe, but Xbox is still a huge brand.

867d ago 15 agree20 disagreeView comment

So much for the developer backing that Sony are famed for. Almost sounds like they didn’t want the project to succeed.

It’s considerably cheaper when you’re not having to pay £50-60 for every game you buy. The price of an annual subscription to gamepass ultimate (which includes xbl gold might I add) is the equivalent of 2 full priced games.

In what way does PlayStation offer that level of value? And that’s before factoring in a vr peripheral.

868d ago 2 agree6 disagreeView comment

You’re making out like Sony are going to give away psvr for nothing. You need big pockets to own a PlayStation nowadays.

869d ago 9 agree9 disagreeView comment

Or maybe it’s part of the deal for Ubi+ coming to Xbox. Either way, it’s another major 3rd party release coming day 1 to gamepass 🎉

Hmm comparing 2 subscription services (which cost half as much more) with 1… plus a number of those titles have been on GP for a while now… but whatever helps you sleep at night.

What do you class as a ‘blockbuster’? And how many did PlayStation have in 2021? 2 at a push? Xbox had at least as many as that last year.

Also, what’s the point of saying ‘if Microsoft didn’t buy Bethesda…’ well they did buy them and they’re a first party now. THAT’S the reality of Microsoft.

Yep, excellent get after all these years.
