No, they both came out today.

No, you wouldn't need a better TV to take advantage of better framerates. A higher framerate generally means that the game will run smoother, and probably feel more responsive. Also, when the game gets really busy and slows down, you might not notice it if the framerate is high to begin with.

However, 30 fps is plenty, and it's what most games run in anyway. 60 is a bonus. The PS3 version of the game will look and play just fine...the 360 version might just be a tiny bit sm...

I don't think you have to say something good about the 360, but you probably shouldn't call people who like Halo "unintelligent". Then, in a thread about Madden football on the PS3, you just simply say that Halo sucks? How is that relevant? Instead of blaming 360 fans for your loss of bubbles, maybe you should take a closer look at what you type.

I think MS said that is was a security issue, not a payment issue. They didn't want to open Live up to potential hacks and such.

Plenty of content has been released for free on Live. Remember the Gears of War maps? Those were even released by Epic.

Why would you assume that you have to pay on Live? He said they're going to be there on the 360, they just have some work to do with MS. I think your assumption that you have to pay for them is why you have disagrees.

Just to play devil's advocate, the movies are a little different since you're not actually "doing it". There is a difference between watching Saving Private Ryan and playing Call of Duty. When you're actually doing the killing, I think it has a different, almost more real effect even though it's graphics instead of real people.

Not that I'm defending Thompson...he needs to go away. I do see your comparison, I just don't think it's quite the same thing.

I think that the integration of Xbox Live into the 360 is another major "next-gen" feature of the 360...the way you can interact with your friends on Live on the 360 is pretty amazing.

I doubt anyone forgot. I would sooner think that a few of the Sony fanatics jump at any chance to put a negative 360 article on this site.

Please note, I said Sony fanatics, not Sony fans. There is a big difference.

I don't think that's really a fair statement. Every piece of electronics ever sold will probably break at some point. 360's tend to have a shorter life span though, which is why MS extended their warrenty. You ask why I stick up for the 360? Well, mine was relatively inexpensive, has fantastic games, and has worked perfectly since the day I bought it a little over a year ago. Why wouldn't I stick up for it? I have two friends who had the RROD, both had them repaired by MS for free with ...

How does this stuff get approved?

I don't understand the bad press they got after the demo at E3. Sure it had a few glitches, but I thought the gameplay looked fantastic. I'm absolutely getting this one on release day.

I wonder if this will effect EA's relationship with Sony. Moore has made a few not so nice comments about the PS3 recently. Will Sony fans now boycott EA products?

Ben: Sounds like a misunderstanding. Someone DID make a "game that was designed to do nothing more than hurt the victims of the VT shootings"...and that was what I was referring to. I was only speaking to that game, not the topic itself. So, I wouldn't automatically say any game dealing with the VT shootings should be banned...however, I can't ever imagine how a game dealing with that subject being could possibly be appropriate for the Xbox. It might be possible, but I certainly...

Benz, you make some good points. :)

Please don't misunderstand me, I don't approve of censorship of any kind. It's the parent's responsiblity to keep M rated games out of the hands of their children and the government has done a good job of giving parents the tools they need to do it. The rating system and parental controls on the systems should be enough.

Also, you couldn't be more right about the line between government and corporations getting vague...but t...

I think there is a big difference between a company and the government. The government has no right to say what games I can or cannot play. However, if Microsoft chooses not to produce games like this for their system, that's their decision. They aren't saying you can't play AO games, they're just saying you can't play them on the 360. If you don't like their decision, you can choose not to buy their products.

Just my 2 cents.

Ben: Maybe the VT shootings are just too personal for me, but I can't imagine a video game where you get to be the killer and you hunt down the victims by name is an appropriate use of our freedom of speech. The game creator was interviewed and clearly created it purely for shock value and to make people angry. He laughed at people's angered responses to his game. Here's a quote from an interview with him about the game:

'You do it for some negative reaction to laugh at. You...

Well said Ben. I completely agree. Obviously there are certain limits as to what should be put in a video game, but just saying that any AO game shouldn't be available is just not right. Not that it's for consoles, but one example of what should NOT be in a video game is that Virginia Tech massacre recreation game. That's just sick.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if Sony has made any statements about AO games on their systems? I would assume that Nintendo has an e...

This is the second time I've seen someone link to buy a PS3 on Amazon and call it news. Not only that, the "news" is that it's out of stock, but it isn't. Am I the only one who thinks this is ridiculous?

You asked why I reported your story, and I explained it. You changed the title, and that is specifically against the N4G posting guidelines. With the title you chose, it seemed to me that you were just trying to create a flamewar. I have nothing against you, I didn't mean to attack you. I'm just trying to help keep to the guidelines that the creators of this site setup.

Sorry Madden, you said it yourself, "What came out of his mouth during that interview is the shocking part". You titled the article with the "shocking" part of what he said instead of the article's real title. The title of the article should reflect what the article is about, and that statement is not the point of the interview. It's one small comment in a much larger interview dealing with many other issues.

From the Urban Dictionary:
