for PSP owners. Maybe we'll start seeing some of the online content for the PSP that the PS3 has enjoyed. DLC anyone?
still have my PS2, and even, my PS1. I still buy games for both of those systems in addition to original Xbox games. I upgraded because there are no longer new games produced for 2 of those 3 systemsand if I want to play the new games I have to upgrade. In 10 years I may be doing the same thing with my PS3 the I've done for Sony's previous generations of consoles. I'll be picking up some of the older games that I've missed while still buying the next gen console's games too.
about consoles is that they don't directly compete with the PC. They both play games, but that's as close as they come, so there's no need to worry about advances in PC hardware in relation to consoles.
lifespan, not within 5 years.
for the PS3 is a 10 year span. I expect to see something very similar to what we've seen with the PS2. Expect a new Sony console well before that time frame, but probably after 5 years. As far as the 360 goes, I'd expect a new Microsoft console to follow the 5 year plan, or maybe a little bit shorter. Wii? We've all read the rumors. No way it'll last 5 years.
The NES and SNES were re-released with a new design. You are right about the others on your list though.
has me interested. This may be the one that I buy a DS to play. I know, there are many other good DS games out there, but maybe I'll finally get off the fence.
be missing many, but most of those people on that list definitely are some of the greatest. Now, I agree with the statements on the people questioning the addition of Ron Pardo and Alex Rigopulos. These guys got lucky with just one type of game. Not exactly a qualifier of the greatest ever.
person has gotten off using the videogames made me do it defense, so even if it's not actually his defense argument, why even mention it. We here all know that videogames do no not turn people into murderers.
liked the first Red Faction game. I have high hopes that this one will fulfill the promises of that early effort.
except the whole "seeing the face of the person wearing it" thing. That would need to be fixed in order for it to be perfect. Now, where is the rest of the suit?
No loss to me then. Better?
The PS3 just keeps getting better and better. I thought the revised account management statement looks pretty interesting. The power save, background download, and the screenshot feature sound cool. Can't wait to try it out.
I think several games released have been easier then they should have been, but as a whole, are games getting dumber? I'd have to say no. Look at where games came from. The old arcade and console games were incredibly basic, they had to be. In those days games had to be easy to pick up and play or else one would not want to spend a quarter to play them. Games have actually gotten a lot smarter. Now, smarter is much different from challenging. If you are looking at challenging, there ar...
news for all of us that didn't jump on the Gamecube when it was out. Now with the possibility of other 'cube titles seeing release (and the new batch of games for the Wii recently announced) there is plenty of reasons for the hardcore gamer to pick one up.
heard of it before. No loss then.
picked up Iron Man on Blu-ray, just as many, many other people have. Titles like this are what drive sales. Back when DVD was new, it was The Matrix that sold DVDs. Before that, sales weren't all that great. All it takes is a few blockbuster titles and then sales take off, like they just did. Expect a bright future for the format.
taking the Wii components out to swap in PC components is not getting the Wii to play PC games. So, no. The Wii cannot play PC games. Misleading title and lame story. All they did is swap cases. Not very interesting or useful. I don't think anyone would be stupid enough to believe that headline.
He has no life outside of WoW. No wife, no kids, no friends. Gotta ask, is it worth it?
More like questions why or shows disappointment. No, no attacking at all there.
