This issue was a nonstarter to begin with since the DLC for it was on the release schedule before the game was released. Sure, DLC isn't a good substitute for a proper ending (which this epic trilogy needs) but should help temper some of the disappointment.
Well, thanks for the discussion. It was more fruitful than I thought it would be, heck, I didn't even think it would get approved. Anyway, the forums were good once and can be again. It wouldn't even take that much effort to do. Just go there and post. Talk to a person or two. There are intelligent and interesting people there on occasion. Search them out and make a friend or two.

This "story" should never have been approved. There are no facts or even any actual reports of any incidents like this happening. If a story like this broke on IGN or 1Up I would believe it. These guys scooping it? Not a chance.

It sounds like Microsoft will not support BRDs at all. Instead the title should read "Microsoft will let 3rd parties add support for BRDs." Now, doesn't that make more sense?

Don't get all excited for this story. It's based on a list and not a sales chart. Look at the story, no numbers on it anywhere. Go to the GameStop site and look at the very bottom. There is a bestseller list that differs from the one published in the story. This story is misleading and inaccurate. Now, don't label me as a Halo hater because I'm saying this. I just hate slopping reporting. I do own and enjoy all 3 Halo games and plan to pick this title up today as well.

Not good. This mod is unnecessary and pointless. Half-Life is not about how sexy the characters look or anything like that at all. This game is about the interaction between the characters and the story itself. Visuals will not make a game if the game has no compelling story or emotional hook. I don't know about you all, but I get bored with pretty but shallow games.
