with the suspense of hanging from the boxcart. But IMO, MGS4 had the best opening. The music actually added a lot for me with the "Love Theme" playing while PMC's, Mid Eastern soldiers, and Gekko battled it out.
was made at that time, though. It's been over a year since its release, and its name is pretty much synonymous with the PS3 itself due to great ratings and such. And after Kojima Pro released games like MGS, MGS2, and MGS3, I think that people would be interested in the next installment that was on a next-gen console (and took advantage of what it had to offer even).
offers everything I could ever want in a game: a deep, historically-accurate story, economic system, variety of missions, a large scope of a sandbox, variety of combat/weapons, the villa (your own town), and great, colorful graphics that represent the time period. If Uncharted 2 didn't come out this year, it would most likely be my pick for GOTY.
still playing all of the exclusives that came out this year, because there was a hell of a lot of them.
EDIT: Who's shutting the door on multiplats? For PS3 owners, Uncharted 2 was just released and most of them are still content with it. They're still probably content with other exclusives as well, considering the PS3 has a lot of top-notch titles. They're not shutting the door on them, they're just playing other games. There's a difference.
Well this isn't new...
See what you just did, Activision? You just made an entire country mad at you!
They belong on the list somewhere, but Kojima Pro or Naughty Dog deserve that spot.
BTW, where the hell is Kojima Pro? MGS4 blew me away!! If there's any dev who puts passion and commitment into their games, it's by far Kojima Pro (along with ND).
And the way Assassin's Creed 2 is shaping up, Ubi Montreal deserves a spot as well. The same can be said for The Last Guardian and Team ICO. But those games are, of course, not out yet.
Bioware never ceas...
That's all I really want at this point...
considering some of the backgrounds are bland, but the gun models look awesome!!! They said they're using a new engine, and from what I can tell, it looks a lot more detailed in the guns. Looks very promising so far. Can't wait to see the finished product!!!!
*cue The Twilight Zone theme music*
Thanks a bunch!! I will definitely pick this up then!!
I'll think about picking up this version. I don't usually get collector's editions, but I can make an exception for ME2 (and GoW3 for that matter).
then imagine what the actual game will be like!!!
but I'm more than satisfied with it.
And I DO like my PS3...
So I will keep an eye on this!
Looks like Halo ODST will be at a fair price. $40 seems about right for what you get, so I'll take that into consideration.
But that $40 Dragon Age is calling my name...
I'm not the biggest fan of this style of RPG's, but I'm a big fan of Bioware and they've never let me down. Definitely a rent, and if I'm sucked into it, a buy.
And on a Bioware related note: can't wait for Mass Effect 2!!!
at least deserves a nomination.
You're not alone, man. I loved AC1 for what it offered (including the combat), and I'm REALLY excited for AC2!!!
Nothing flashy or over the top. The US box probably won't be like this though...
You may want to check your grammar.
But anyways, from what I've seen, Eight Days looks pretty good even though it's very early in development. I don't think that one's a rip off of the other, but I do notice that they share some ideas. It's like saying Uncharted ripped off of Gears of War. Both have similar combat mechanics, but they're not completely the same.
