the last thing I want is a new Star Wars IP. Just bring Battlefront 3 out!!!
Thank God that's not the game. I was a little worried there!! xD
or does it look kind of cartoony? I mean, it looks more like a plastic toy than anything else (I'm talking about the top image, the bottom one is obviously a sculpture). Still, I have high expectations for Reach. ODST left me disappointed, but if Reach can live up to the hype, I think I'll be pleased.
It's not like they're from Gametrai-......oh yeah.
Does this mean Dead Space 2 will release in 2010? If so, 2010 just got better (if that's even possible)!!!
is hyping it up. Not the smartest thing to do. Look what hype has done to games in the past. It better reach the expectations they're setting for their sake.
on Peace Walker.
As long as Visceral is developing it, I can't wait!!! Dead Space was a phenomenal game that shattered my expectations, making it one of my favorite games of 2008.
I'm totally all for a quality, well-written story that lasts a long time, but look when it comes out. March is already jammed pack of incredible games like God of War 3, Gran Turismo 5, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Just Cause 2, (and if I get a PSP any time soon) MGS Peace Walker. I still REALLY want to get this, even on day one. But with all those releases PLUS the ones from January (like Bayonetta and Mass Effect 2) and February (like Bioshock 2, Dante's Inferno, and Heavy Rain) AND the rest ...
It looks great! I don't give a rat's ass if it looks and plays like God of War. In my book, that's a good thing. The Divine Comedy is one of my favorite books of all time, and after playing Dead Space, I know that Visceral can recreate Dante Alighieri's twisted vision of Hell. I'm looking more forward to God of War 3, but Dante's Inferno still looks like a solid game, even if it does take a lot of elements from the God of War series.
As far as the demo goes, I'd like to see it ...
It'll probably be a trailer for Reach. They said they're announcing and showing a lot of new titles there, so my bets are on a that.
Not flashy, not cluttered, but easy to take in. Personally, I like it a lot. Are there better choices? Yes, but I'm satisfied with this one. It's not as disappointing as the Mass Effect 2 cover at least (I'm not a fan of that cover AT ALL, but I'd be a fool not to get that game anyway).
March 9 better come soon!
Virtual Boy.
I'm sure it won't be as bad as that (it's not only black and red anymore), but 3D and gaming don't have the best history with each other. I'm interested in seeing if this causes any major problems, too. I know with the Virtual Boy you could only play for 30 minutes or it would be a hazard to your eyes.
but I came damn close to at the end of MGS4...
I'll take her! Biotic chaos FTW!!
So many new, awesome characters!! Legion and Thane are already badass enough, and Bio hasn't even revealed all of the characters yet!!
I'm not a big fan of 3D in the first place, and I just can't see myself using this. I think it's a great new concept that has a strong future if it's done right, but this is not the kind of gaming experience I would like. Same with motion control, but that's another story...
it better be pretty damn good if it's actually gonna come out.
without my Metal Gear.
Bungie is such a talented developer, and I'm glad to see them break their Halo chains and start on a new, hopefully more creative IP. It's about time they started a new franchise, too. Halo is getting old and bland, and I can only take so much of the same.
Whatever work comes out of these guys, I hope it turns out great!
I saw Uncharted 2 at #10 and laughed some more. I saw Geo-Defense Swarm and laughed even more. And then I saw Modern Warfare at #1 and almost had a heart-attack from laughter.
