This is a fine example of hype. $3 billion worth of it in fact. And you know what $3 billion of hype does to a game? It turns it into a disappointment for lots of gamers. The CoD franchise is a great franchise, but it doesn't deserve $3 billion IMO.

that all we want from LucusArts is Battlefront 3. Force Unleashed didn't cut it at all. And after seeing that leaked footage of BF3, I NEED this game RIGHT NOW!!! If they can bring back the seemless land-to-air-to-space concept, I would preorder it the second it's available (not that I wouldn't preorder it anyway).
Mass Effect 2 is one of my most anticipated games next year, but the BEST looking RPG out there? Sure, the graphics are good, the story is amazing, and the gameplay looks spot on, but it's still not the BEST looking RPG out there. FF13 looks just as good if not better. The graphics are impressive, the gameplay is deep, and the story looks and sounds interesting. Mass Effect 2 certainly doesn't "rape" FF13, or any big-name RPG for that matter.

These announcements better be as good as they're hyping them up to be. I don't wanna sit through this sh*tstorm for nothing...
I'm not liking this whole "let's release our game when everyone else is" thing. Spread it out for God's sake!!! Push some out into the summer.
Still, Just Cause 2 looks interesting. I played the demo for the first one (hated it), but I'll at least try this one.
and it's beautiful. You never notice the little things when you're playing anyway. Some people say that the PS3 has washed-out graphics when it comes to multiplats, but when you sit down and actually play the game, you won't notice or care unless someone is playing the other version next to you.
At least that's how it is for me.
Why not? If it's good and not too generic like the Halo franchise, I'd most definitely get it. Bungie is a very talented developer and I'd like to see them make some new IPs.

what new features and innovations you can add to a game like Left 4 Dead to make it a bigger improvement over its predecessor? It's not like it has a story you can build on or a concept you can take farther. It's just shoot, shoot, shoot! They're not bad games at all, but seriously, Valve is gonna have to innovate their asses off if they don't want L4D to end up like the Guitar Hero franchise.

I need more info on this game. From the looks of the first trailer, the game looks amazing so far! Hopefully this new trailer will have some gameplay.

I'd be more appreciative of the system, but considering there's only 3 exclusives I'm looking forward to within the next year so far and how bad 2009 was for it, I'm pretty disappointed. this outta help, but I won't use it unless I'm in dire need (aka when I finish the game). It's more fun to hunt em down with no help, especially the glyphs.
I'm not too thrilled with the single player for this, but the multi looks decent. Ubi Montreal makes some great games (AC2), but with all the other games I'm looking forward to, this doesn't stand out too much. And besides, if I felt like playing a game like this, I'd pick up Lost Planet 2 instead.
