But the last thing we need is a post-apocalyptic FPS with bland colors. Just seems too generic. Give us something that stands out!!! You did it with Bioshock!!!

I'd get it for my 360 for a few of reasons:

1. My save files from ME1 are on it
2. I'm used to the 360 controls when playing ME
3. My PS3 library will already be overflowing with games by summer 2010, so I'd get this for my 360 so there's at least some sort of balance

What I mean by "missed the mark" is that certain aspects like the repetitiveness brought it down. AC1 is still one of my favorite games, no doubt about it.

But those Black Friday mongers will be there bright and early. I don't really want to end up being one of those people that break out into fights over a good deal. I'm not THAT desperate for a TV...

Your game sold record breaking amounts, but you still want more money? And it's for not being innovative? Way to treat your fans.

That 22" LCD TV looks like a great deal!! I'd get one, but I go shopping later on in the day, not earlier when it's a hell-storm.

I needs me some Dream Theater!!! :)

I have high expectations for this one. Ubi promised something big, and although AC1 missed the mark, I hope they get it right this time around. I don't want a great idea like this to be executed poorly. It's one of my favorite concepts this gen.

And now with all these games coming out, a RROD would REALLY piss me off more than ever. If I can't play Mass Effect 2 just because MS sold me a piece of faulty hardware, there will be blood.

27.3% is just unacceptable, especially since consoles aren't cheap. And even more, there are people who have had SEVERAL 360's die on them!

As a fan of the series, MGS4 was an amazing experience (one of the best current gen expereiences at that). It really is a "fanbase" game, though. What I mean by that is that the fans that have played all the MGS titles will appreciate it more. Don't get me wrong, there are TONS of people who have never played an MGS game besides MGS4, and they loved it. In fact, I have plenty of friends like that, and it's still one of the best games they've ever played.

Great read.

but even though I go shopping on that day, I'm not the "wake up super early to get a few good deals" kinda guy. Good deal, but not worth the hastle.

I wanna see Best Buy's deals. They had some decent ones last year. Same with Target (where I got Fallout 3, Dead Space, and Halo 3 new for $30 each).

is petition-happy. In some cases it's not a bad thing if it's effective, but for MW2? Seriously? C'mon, petitions didn't work before the release and they certainly won't work now after it just sold millions.

is that there're still those goddamn annoying 7-year-olds playing on it!!!

is a very talented dev team. AC1 had a great concept and the ideas were definitely there. But the final product missed the mark with its repetitive structure. Now that they've seen AC1's reception, they know what they need to change, and from the looks of it, they've fixed the fatal flaws from the first game. I hope Ubi Montreal hit the mark this time around, because if they did, this could very well be a contender for GOTY.

I wasn't trying to convince you to agree with me if that's how it sounded. But if you can state your opinion, then I can as well. It all comes down to a taste in games, and I can perfectly respect your opinion. But I don't think that sex and violence is "completely unnecessary", and again that's my opinion that I can state as well.

To each his own indeed.

Video games are a form of entertainment that have explicit content, just like movies and TV shows. If movies and TV shows are aloud to have sex and violence, then why aren't video games?

And personally, I think it IS necessary in games, like Heavy Rain and Assassin's Creed 2. In Heavy Rain, sex, violence, and cursing are what make the game more realistically dark, and they create that atmosphere that people are uncomfortable around. That's what makes Heavy Rain the game it is, ...

So there shouldn't be sex and violence in movies or TV shows, right?

If you're not mature enough to handle mature content, then don't bother commenting on an article like this. You'll just get torn apart :)
