Yeah it's not really up to Microsoft.. Nintendo Switch online is capable of emulating local multiplayer, while Xbox live isn't. That's why some N64 games can play online multiplayer despite never having internet capability on the console itself. That magic isn't possible on the Xbox Live network which is why it's local multi only. Definitely wish it had online multiplayer, and I'm sure Microsoft does too.
This is the mobile game, where you don't steer and only tap the screen to brake at the proper time. I don't think this will be missed. You DO have a point on digital games and preservation, but not all games need to be kept around, and this is especially true for mobile games and shovelware. This game was Forza in name only.
But their online services are SOOOoooOOOOOoooOOOOooooOOOOooo oooOOOO great!
Is anyone surprised by this? Switch Online has such great offerings such as; laggy Smash matches, voice chat if you use your cell phone to actually power it, and backwards compatible NES and SNES games to make you forget about the first two!
Stop blindly paying for their half-based (at best) offerings. Hold them accountable and maybe someday their online service will work half...
Nah man, it was very good. It's a long-term showcase and for that it was great, the only way I can see being disappointed was if you expected more things releasing in the next 3-6 months. I'd bet God of War: Ragnarok slips even farther, and Wolverine doesn't even have a release year but most certainly 2024 at the earliest. Insomniac is definitely doing the heavy lifting on this one, but God of War is one of the most anticipated games announced right now. Nobody cares about Inf...
It's likely an 'inside job' of sorts.. the player base has been unhappy with Respawn focusing all their energy on Apex (rather than patching/updating Titanfall 1/2) so they're tampering with the game to make a statement. There was a similar story a month or 2 ago when they were unhappy with hackers ruining the game or something along those lines. Respawn said they basically had 1-2 people working on Titanfall and the rest are on to Apex or other new projects.
Hah definitely OP's biggest fear.
Here's what we know: Sony isn't giving free upgrades for games after Horizon comes out in Feb. They've said that now, so now we know what to expect in the future. I think the biggest issue at the time was the lack of a PS4-to-PS5 upgrade (either free or paid), which they've since backtracked and changed that. If a $10 upgrade fee is enough to get you to either switch from Playstation to Xbox or to buy an Xbox.. that...
They say "there's no such thing as bad publicity", but this is certainly reaching the tipping point of that. I get delays, but this is a delay for an app that'll show a trailer for a game with no release date.. so I'm banishing this to the "who the hell cares" section of my brain until I have a legitimate reason to give a damn.
Came here to make a similar joke, glad to see you got it covered!
The PS5 resolution increase to 1440p is somewhat funny since the platform itself doesn't support it yet. Easily patched in down the road since it can handle 4K, just funny that EA added the possibility before Sony made it a reality.
Yeah I was gonna post separately but it goes so well with your post... good luck finding a charging station right now! Think on stockx they're selling for around $45, but I'll just juggle charging USB-C's until I can find it in stock someplace.
I believe next-gen games have to be saved on the internal storage, but backwards-compatible games can be saved and run from an external hard drive. There's also the expansion slot to add the extra capacity to internal storage. It's a bummer for sure, but you're right on the money that cost dictates these decisions. Most games are 100gb or less and if you NEED more games installed, buy an expansion HDD or a Series X!
Definitely understandable frustration on your end. I also bought a day 1 xbox, watched as Kinect went from a pack-in to obscurity/obsolescence, and so few exclusives of consequence that I can count them on one hand with fingers to spare. I haven't downloaded/watched the 4k/60fps stream for Halo Infinite yet, so hard to say if the graphics quality was a result of the 1080p stream and artifacts or if it's indicative of the final product.
That said, It's very saf...
I was hoping for a little more combat and less puzzles as the game went on, but to no avail. Some of those puzzles were not particularly obvious either, and without some guides I would've been on them for quite a while. Still enjoyed it though... but also glad I played it via Game Pass.
Yeah I've long accepted the PS4 bias on here, but then I typically just post my thoughts and don't bother reading any follow-ups because I already know what they'll say.
Just gotta say that this console is going to be a colossal flop, it's entirely too expensive for what it does.
Sony exec loves Sony games... quick, spin up the printers and get this story out!!!
In all honesty they seem like great games, just started God of War recently and haven't tackled TLOU let alone the sequel. Am also looking forward to picking up Ghosts, albeit at discounted prices in the future.
Oh much worse.. at least Ouya was affordable trash.
I'll generally avoid fueling the typical fanboy rage and just limit my response to saying that a locked clock speed is better than variable. Either way I'd expect there will be a little time before either the PS5 or XSX are pushed to their limits by a game, and only game developers should give a crap about it. Both will be significantly faster than their previous versions due to the SSD and increased bus speeds on CPU/RAM... so enjoy!

"Woke" simply means you're aware that other people have certain advantages/disadvantages due to race/gender/religion/age/sexua l identity. You might find opening your mind to other perspectives can actually enrich your life and society.. rather than sticking with "guns and god". If there's one problem with the US, it's people who act and talk like you.
