Well that's generally the best way to use it, but I think it's also important to move in with the team to cap the objectives.
kwicksandz is right you need to judge how fast the enemy plane is moving, and where it's moving too, quite often you'll have to lead the target by quite a large margin in order to hit it, this just takes lots of practice.
Ahh you are right I did forget to mention the repair stations, I've rarely used them myself, but I agree they are very handy indeed. so thanks for pointing it out.
Definitely, Cannon Fodder was a great game.
The Amiga did have some purpose after all!
That would be sweet :)
He's a legend! I agree with his comments about the Wii etc. I'm hoping Project Natal doesn't end up with the same party game claptrap.
I think the only maps they've announced for 1943 so far are: Wake Island, Guadalcanal and Iwo Jima.
1943 also has confirmed ranking and unlock system so it's definitely sounding like good value.
The new 1943 Iwo Jima trailer has gone some way to eliminate my fears that it would be clunky and cartoony - it's looking like a lot of fun actually.
The 1942 Desert Combat mod was great, have you tried Project Reality mod? It's fantastic, totally different experience to vBF2.
It depends though I love playing Rock band with friends and you look a bit daft playing that...I don't mind looking daft if the game is fun.
I'm hoping for more visceral WW2 action, but I wonder what they can do to keep it fresh?
I agree, but most news sites have this banner ads now. it's one reason I stopped visiting CVG as much.
Use FireFox, or IE7 pro - both are great at stopping banner ads.
I want Battlefield 3 on PC, but BC2 will do I guess. The Frostbite engine with the destruction you can create is immense, no other game really comes close to it in this respect. I just hope us PC gamers aren't treated to a console port, because Battlefield's home is on PC.
The success of this peripheral is going to be determined by the games that take advantage of it at the end of the day, but I remain to be convinced.
Hopefully we'll get some more approvals to get the debate going.
It's an interesting rumour. I think considering the following the MGS series has, Raiden is a logical choice, and despite Raiden's squeaky voice in MGS2 I did really enjoy that game, so this could be good. It'll be hard beating Snake in the cool stakes though.
You it does indeed sound like the PS eye.
TW did a marvellous job on Red Orchestra so I'm sure the quality will be high. I'm pre-loading KF as a type this! Can't wait.
A bunch of my friends on TDS are getting this so if you want to hook up for a game join the TDS Steam group: http://steamcommunity.com/g...
My kids will love this, but I think I'll stick with my lovely "old school" controller thank you very much.
I've played it now and thoroughly enjoyed. I've heard it's already broke even! I really want more mature experiences like this.
