good that e-gaming is becoming a recognised "sport" :) The daily mail will hate this lol
hardly anyone can get hold of a Wii at the moment due to lack of stock so I think we can discount this poll as complete...TRIPE
creating mods is one of the reasons I love PC gaming, and I dont think its geeky at all to enjoy creating games.
I am working on a mod called Mare Nostrum which is set in the African theatre of WW2, (its a mod for red orchestra), and Steam has really helped Red Orchestra get out to players who may not have heard of it (since its a low budget independant title).
I think modding for 360 is a possibiity through XNA, but not for PS3...I think the way for consoles to ...
I found the whole folding at home thing hysterical, wtf!? Seriously I dont believe those figures there are literally millions of PCs connected to folding at home and I am in one such group, to suggest that the PS3 is dishing out most of this processing doesn't make any sense to me considering the amount of units sold.
I think the 360 and PS3 fanboys who blindly slag eachother off and compare ridiculous things like how many polygons the consoles can dish around are missing the ...
This is almost certainly down to the localisation companies not translating correctly, it cant all be the marketing people since they'd be shot!
gotta love this quote:
"BE SICK ALL OVER." - Freestyle Metal X, PS2
- You got it.
I wont be buying Vista until there is a really good reason, and at the moment with all the compatability issues its really pointless
It was originally an industry only event, opening the doors to the public is what caused its downfall as it became a huge PR circus with millions being spent on stands. Basically it lost the plot.
not really surprising considering there are few PS3 titles and the install base is much lower at the moment.
would be nice to see PC included in the "cross platform" list.
The xbox v1 came into the game late last generation hence why some say that it "failed"...quite the contrary actually it did very well considering, and cannot be compared to the dreamcast at all which hardly got any 3rd party support.
Xbox 360 is now in the same position the PS2 was in, its got the price advantage and the 3rd party support advantage, and whilst I think the PS3 will eventually become the winner when it drops in price, I think the 360 will continue to g...
you would see that him asking for money was "a joke"...
yes HAHA very funny ROFL Mr Ryan
Stupid thing is that if people just ignored it he wouldn't have got the attention he so obviously needs - loser.
I just bought this yesterday, and I have to agree its a masterpiece, and in ever imagined any PS2 game could look this good!
I really hope they port this over to the next gen consoles too at some point, although David Jaffe the creator said he wouldn't do another God of War so I am not sure it would be as good without him involved.
Anyway BUY IT NOW! You wont regret it even if like me you haven't played a hack n slaher for years!
interesting considering the 360 has sold many more units than the Wii... and since the Wii is cheaper it should be expected to outsell the other consoles.
This all sounds like rather a lot of hassle, and me being a lazy SOAB unless someone writes a handy guide or something, I dont think I'll bother.
I think he has some valid points, but I am not convinced Haze is the game to change peoples perceptions.
My thoughts are that currently our entertainment is akin to cartoons in terms of depth and emotional attachment...i.e there is very little. I am looking forward to more deeper emotional experiences, much like films can offer...doing this in a game is a greater challenge since it has to be interactive but very few developers have actually tried. Farenheit was probably one o...
customer service, there is no reason why they shouln't be able to remove her account information, and it's absolutely NOT ON that she should have to phone her cc company to say the card is lost/stolen in order to stop this happening.
If I was her I would right a formal letter of complaint.
you obviously haven't played any recent PC titles because they are very demanding indeed. Consoles are obviously more cost efficient, but it depends what you are looking for, I'm a PC gamer at heart, but I do enjoy a game on my 42" HD TV...so i just bought a 360 today!
I just bought my first console in 7 years today...(PS2 owner and PC gamer mainly)...and I bought the 360 because I felt its Live service and game lineup were much more attractive to me, and the price point is fair too...(I went for this offer on play.com: http://www.play.com/Games/X... )
PS3 also looks good and I liked the fact it had an HDM...
I hope this is good I really do, MOHAA got me into MP gaming in a big way and MOHPA was such a let down
but new on the web no?
tplarkin7 that is quite a short sighted statement...there is normally at least one good mod for each game released on PC, whether it adds to single player, gives us another campaign, or enhances multiplayer...yes there is a lot of garbage but there is also a lot of good stuff too
