Waiting for the article title: Easy Mode needs a Sekiro - to whip it into shape.
Completing a challenge that's regarded as tough and few can accomplish forms a sense of accomplishment. It is neither moronic or an indication of having low self-esteem. Wanting to preserve the formula, the vision, and the memories that come through the experience is a noble cause - because those who see the uniqueness in it want it to remain as it is.
This was a good read. Nice to see the logic behind how they pulled it off.
It's a nice design.
Every now and then I'll read a comment that makes me grin and think out loud "got 'em."
Well put.
Ironically the people who take issue with chosen races/sex for character types, are showing they themselves take issue with playing as someone they don't identify with, since apparently we all need to identify with every single character we play.
Game developers dictate what's what and honestly, accept it and move on. How, on earth, some think they can tell the creators that they are wrong (with the creative choice) and should do a, b and c, is mind blowing.
Swarm of Freakers arrives.
"Don't worry guys. I'm playing this on EASY." *Kills everything
If From Software feels that an easy mode won't detract from their gaming philosophy - they'll add it. The reason they haven't until now is indicative that they have a different view on gameplay and enjoyment, it's what makes their games all the more unique. Unlike shooters or games where enemies are buffed/debuffed based on gameplay settings, you know going into a From Software game that to win, you need to be ready for a fight. There's zero hand holding, and the fans are ...
"Be smart people, skip fighting games on day1."
I agree. Skip most games on day1 to be honest.
"Murdering others in the game in most violent ways is just fine but seeing some skin on ladies in the game cannot be tollerated. How twisted is that?"
I don't view it that way. Though it's possible the designer takes serious issue with skin being revealed (no idea, nor will I assume as such - I think the designs are...
Moze seems like my kind of gal.
Amazing read. Tragic outcome.
Why does this look so good!
"This is mercy."
Oh haha, I know. I read the article. Sounds like a strong group of creatives on board. I'm just very fond of Bleach, so seeing Tite Kubo's name pop up was a nice surprise.
I'm intrigued. If they got Tite Kubo on board, I'll prob pick this up.
What helped is that everything has been given to the gamers for free. Anthem, if it ever improves, will still flaunt its microtransaction nonsense and be held back by it.
Feels good having a release date.
A change for the better.
The difficulty and challenge is part of what makes these games stand out. If someone says they completed a game by From Software, it holds meaning. No one will ask you "but what mode?"
Bioware: We're sorrrryyyyy, we're really sawwyyyyyy
They made a looter shooter that messed up the loot, it's asinine. If this were before the days of patches, *whistles. On a serious note. I hope the devs aren't plundered by EA over this, and can get back to making something reminiscent of the narrative experiences of their glory days (regardless of who's involved in the project - they, those currently at Bioware, hold the mantle - they need to do justic...
Finally <3
