If it is February, 2020 in its first quarter is stacked.
R.I.P Patrick.
"when the landscape is dominated by a handful of publishers, all of whom are currently picking from the same playbook, it’s easy to see that it’s slowing down the evolution of the industry as a whole. If we’re not careful big budget gaming could easily start to stagnate, if it hasn’t started to already."
Agreed.
I highly doubt it. There's already conflicting messaging on what their plans are for the following games. I'd like for the games to be released within a reasonable amount of time but with Square Enix, I've learned that a reasonable amount of time means sometime during the remainder of my life.
Anyone extreme creates an issue for all those who know how to live in the middle.
Just how good it can get, is what you meant to say.
I like but don't trust the mechanic they're emphasizing. In a perfect world we will get exactly as advertised, however I imagine a lot of the dialogue for certain NPC's will be repetitive/random, rather than the cohesive personal dialogue shown.
This is certainly something different however. The old lady made me smile, and the third character with her John Wick shooting style, certainly put this on my list of games to keep in mind.
Man, September is stacked (for me).

The Surge 2
Code Vein
Greedfall
Trails of Cold Steel 3
I'm not one to get excited from a CGI trailer, however the concepts shown clicked with me. + The presentation made me smile. So I'll keep Ghostwire on my list.
Best part was the intro for Ghostwire. I genuinely smiled. Everything else made me frown and question the intense screaming. The presenters would say a few words and then WOOOOAHHHHYEAAHHH from the front row.
Conceptual CGI trailers.
Dominate is a strong word to use.
This trailer sort of scared me away.
<3 Arise
September is looking like a busy month. I'm picking this one up.
That's still $24 over asking.
I enjoyed the Alpha run. Certainly needs some work here/there (clipping in clothes/hair styles) but It's good enough to satisfy the genre it's placing itself within, and I do appreciate the anime style. I found the combat to be - easy? I didn't bother with the boss fight so I can't comment on that portion, but the enemies in the Alpha weren't a challenge, though perhaps this comes from having played Dark Souls, Nioh, The Surge, etc.
Code Vein is certainl...
Finally <3 a release date.
5v5v5v5 would certainly get the adrenaline going. I also like the sound of 10v10 Search and Destroy.
Oh I agree, I don't put any form of weight on interviews such as this. I was simply thinking that, in the chance that this somehow ends up being a thing, *whistles
