It's a lot easier to kill with an Ak-47 or an Ar-15 than it is to stab 20 people or use a vehicle. Just because those who seek to cause violence will perhaps find a way, doesn't give cause to do absolutely nothing to address the issues at hand.
It's about limiting their options. If your loved one dies because of a gun in the hands of a gun nut, you're not going to be thinking, "I guess guns are okay, since people die by all sorts of things."
America in a nutshell: Shooting happens. Republicans deflect and point towards video games (It's not video games - the rest of the world is evidence in painting this as a nonsensical scapegoat). Nothing changes. More bullets are loaded into a gun. Shooting happens.
Thoughts and prayers.
Something different. I like that.
lol
It's become second nature for me to avoid anything EA has their hands on.
Accidentally.
*Checks those same notes*
It appears that can be the only conclusion.
Yo Myst-Vearn.
I don't support your shit logic.
In what way is it pandering?
Some people love being pessimistic.
I could live without these opinion pieces. If Sony creates tech that scrubs these I’ll buy a ps5.
Naturally I’m kidding, freedom of expression and so forth. Also, games.
Sony offers games. When they stop doing that, I’ll stop buying.
This is such a bland troll tactic. The writer of this is having more fun arguing in the comments than his time spent in Anthem. He must’ve ran out of things to do... though a game requires things to do in the first place.
Yes.
Oh wow, so the devs who are in the right to decide what they want in their game, decided to opt out of having smoking because for some of them it hits a little close to home. Now, while I understand those with peanut shaped brains immediately scream "hypocrisy! look! violence! guns!" I'd gather if the devs had family members slaughtered by guns, they probably wouldn't have guns in this game - or work on a game with guns (this being the obvious choice). Since smoking, which i...
When next gen lands, PS4 will receive its discount.
This clicks with me.

*nods in agreement.
"Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order's director gave a ridiculous explanation about the game's utterly forgettable white, male protagonist."
Switch white with black.
Male with female.
Yeah, doesn't sound good does it?
Fairly certain it's already been stated this'll be on Sony's console (no clue which one) in time. So they've lost out, temporarily. I think many can agree that there's no shortage of games to play in the meantime (If this were a title someone really wanted to get their hands on).
@meka
I understand your point. I also understand that in America people detest the thought of losing a bit of freedom in regards to gun ownership, however giving away a little of that gun ownership (over say, which types of guns can be owned) to save hundreds of lives and broken hearts on a yearly basis - seems like a no brainer.
The problem is, Republicans (or those with power who do nothing in general about this) use mental health as a scapegoat the way...
