Oh, very nice. Makes me think of potential matches with:

Short answer:
It's bad.
Long answer:
It's a decision. The decision should be based on a level of research and recent history of the provider. Is the dev/publishers trust worthy? How much does the cost matter? Is the game as advertised? How badly do I want this?
Some devs have a good track record, so a pre-order can be appealing for the extra goodies. Others bait and switch and cause damage to the industry (think of every single f...
What a joke.
Lol I know what you mean. Thankfully, the footage so far kind of gives us a sense of the change. (But I'll believe it when it's release day and there's a lot of footage that is consistent).
Yeah, I think the help system did more to add to the atmosphere itself. I recall vividly on my first play through of Dark Souls 3, feeling the dread of potential death and wondering how far I had to go until I reached a somewhat safe area. Those moments where relief came, and it was found by some helpful messages - were superb.
I wiki'd stuff after the first playthrough.
One of my favourite elements of Dark Souls, outside the atmosphere, is the ability to see and be helped by/help other players. Death Stranding seems to be getting that aspect beautifully.
Reboot / Re-imagining. So some concepts/characters return but it's not connected to anything previously done. A fresh start so to speak, though how fresh will be known when it releases.
So far the campaign (actual single player) seems to be down to earth and gritty/mature. There's cross platform. Experience transfers between game modes.
So far it's a lot of good news. My intrigue increases.
Alright, from a narrative standpoint I like what these articles claim the game is doing. So I'm intrigued. I have fond memories of Cod 4's campaign. If they're going to do a reimagining reboot, I'll keep this on my radar (I've ignored Cod for a few years now).
New engine is long overdue, so that bit is nice.
This'll be a great game.
:D yay
"You're the president of jack shit." <- kk, I'm game.
November sounds good to me.
I take it you've never gotten past the first page of a book.
So, we all need to buy it.
What's the fatality? Arya appearing out of thin air and stabbing him before he does anything?
I'd be ashamed if I wrote this. Utter lack of class. You're hurt? It's a video game. Your unique trait doesn't give you the right to dictate the creative direction of a game. Men are killed. Women are killed. Vehicles blow up. Imagine if anyone who's a man, or woman, or just loves vehicles wrote an opinion piece about how, despite having fun - they feel like shit because xyz happened.
It's asinine. You can't be a journalist if your foundation is ...
I laughed loud at this one.
CoD is certainly typical, though ironically it appears (so far) that what's being presented is them breaking the status quo. It's smart to make a spiritual reboot. It packs the punch of new hardware while signalling a call to better days. Of course, naturally this game could be awful once it's released.
For now however, this is new compared to CoD's usual antics.
