I thought that also. Kinda got that feeling. But it does look darker and different. Nonetheless, since Crackdown was awesome, hope this is too.
The creator stated it, do you need more proof?
@BaMYouRDeaD
Good point and I agree. But can you please add KZ2 to that list. This game seems to be breaking the scene. Although I know Halo3 will be great, have you seen anything as seemless as KZ2.
Nice exclusives. MGS EXCLUSIVE!
You're right, Blu-Ray isn't needed. Neither is DVD, as Nintendo displayed that years ago. But why limit the gaming experience. Why not broaden the horizons. If a developer can spend more time and add more content to a disk, why not. Look at KZ2, that's what you get when a developer spends some time on the game, not for pushing it out early. And Blu-Ray allows them to put a ton of value added incentives to buy the game. Like I said, even DVD is not needed, cartridges worked fine, but why limit...
Really? Last time I checked, Sony owned the part of fan base. Remember that PS2 that sold over 100 mil. Of I forget that MS fans fore all of their products. My bad.
@eLiNeS
I'm still waiting for my 2nd ROD to come back. It's going to be my 3rd x360, and frankly I've kinda had it with MS. They do this with almost all products that they make. The problem is I am invested in the system with 11 games and that HD-Dvd drive. So what do I do. I don't know. My serious question f...
Could it be, possibly, maybe, that they took it down for some maintenance and possibly an huge upgrade prior to E3? Could it. IT is all good. It's not that big of a deal. Do you expect it down for days? No. So relax. I take this as a routine maintenance or a huge upgrade to the infrastructure of PSN. Either way, it's not bad. And who cares what MS did. Sony working hard to provide exceptional service online. So things go down for maintenance.

It will still be overpriced. The prices do not justify the problems they are having. And by the way, did microsoft ever mention how they were going to fix the problem, besides sending refurbs out again for 3 years. They are spending these billions to keep their repair companies from jumping ship and to sell you junk at $350. Thats humiliating. And no I don't like sony, but the PS3 price is starting to justify itself. I don't mind spending a little more to get reliability.
going to put your confidence back into this system? why? why is it worth so much to you to spend soo much on a system that has so many flaws? just wondering. for the record, i've been through 2 and the thrid one just wnet out on thurday. I'm through with x360, I won't even plug it in anymore.
huh . . .
I have to agree with you!
I'm just as shocked as you! DJ, I've never heard the PS3 looking like the GF grill, but I do know that everytime anyone sees a PS3 in a room, they gravitate towards it. They must be hungry? I beg to differ.
I never liked Sony in the past. I actually would never buy anything from them. And since I have a few friends that work at Cnet, I always read the reviews for any product category that I'm willing to purchase. Although I don't base my purchase solely on Cnet ratings, I've come to the following conclusion. Sony is more expensive, because the products they build are premium quality. Quality doesn't mean the best specs on paper. It means they are built to last, and to keep the same specification...
seriously? Come on, please, don't comment just to comment.
At face value, I would agree with you. But from a financial standpoint, it respectfully can't be justified. First and foremost, microsoft is not a debt free company. If they were, they wouldn't be traded on the stock market. All those billions would continually add up in Bill Gates pocket, which is not happening. Second, MS own's other major corporations, which are in lots of debt (+ lawsuits). SEC filings don't always show the truth, becuase debt is recycled into operating costs for the foll...
Just got the PS3. What's all the fuss about people bashing it. Resistence is one hell of a game, been playing for hours now. Blu-Ray = WOW! Planet Earth is awesome. I really like the XMB is simple and looks cool. I heard the background colors change per time and date. I've been on this site for a while now and x360 owners bash this console, but it is actually great. The system makes NO noise. I can't hear anything, not even the disc reading. As for games, how are the other games such as Fight...
I've had 2 x360's and now going on my third when it gets back from MS. How does everyone like the PS3. I'm thinking of picking one up today with NGS, Resistence, and Planet Earth BR. Does anyone have suggestions? Any problems on the system. I'm really sick and tired of returning for repair.
@DJ and Snake_Doctor
Thanks a ton, I'm leaving to get it in 30 min. It's not the price that was bothering me. The problem is the I really like the 360, but at this point I have given...
Shut you mouth loser!
LOL - Hey loser, are you threatened?
Another comment to solidify that you're a loser. What does that say about you.
You are an idiot and you make x360 owners look stupid. Lay off man. All you do is argue the negative rather than point out the positive. Shut you mouth already. X360 owner appreciate their consoles and you find a way to make all of us look like we're stuck up MS's ass. No we're not. The console is great, you suck!
This is to all you comments, not exclusively to this one - you joke!

I think the time has finally come to get the PS3. I agree, it is a marathon. Either system should, for the price last more than a few years. In the years coming, I don't see why Sony won't be able to show some amazing games. I honestly think the developers are lazy on both consoles, and once a few break away, the quality should increase. The lineup Sony has is not bad. It's just no out right now. Minor problem. Just like when Halo comes out MS will breathe easier.
Do you really think this would take place in a region that is extremely loyal to Sony. Either this article is BS or Sony and MS have lost their minds in the past few months. I don't see many good decisions being made with the hardware. The games are great on both consoles, but some stuff these companies do don't make much sense.
