But it IS entirely optional. There isn't a single thing in the game you need to pay real money for. As it's a racing game maybe people need to try to actually race to earn those credits. Radical thinking I know.

The way some people are crying you'd think that the game is forcing you to part with real money to do anything at all in the game when of course the opposite is true since absolutely everything can be obtained without spending any money outside the cost of the game itself.
But likely these people who are outraged over wholly optional microtransactions probably had no intention of buying the game anyway because how dare an evil corporation actually CHARGE you to purchase...

Don't try to make this a bigger issue than it is, microtransactions in this game are entirely optional, everything can be earned by in game credits and winning challenges. Trust me, the game throws credits at you for practically anything, there's no need at all to use real money

But GT7 is packed with content and is very much worth that £70 and once you have it, you don't have to pay another penny for anything in the game. I can't belive that all of a sudden people are unwilling to pay full price for a game. In every way GT7 is the complete package.
It takes a bit more than 5 minutes but there's plenty of ways to earn in game money - with online, the cafe, offline races, licences etc. It doesn't take long to track up the credits. I'm not a fan of microtransactions but in this game they're entirely optional. There's nothing hidden behind a pay wall.
