I don't get it. There's actually a lot of music in the game, but when in races it only seems to select the same few tunes. If I her Vroom Vroom one more time I'm going to go mad :)
I'm obviously kidding though. The soundtrack is terrible but it doesn't harm my enjoyment of the game in the slightest, I just wish it was a bit more "random" in its selections.

It really does. For a 9 year old game it is surprising just how well it holds up visually. I love the thunder storms out in the desert and the way they light up the road and mountains in the distance. There's modern games that don't do weather anywhere near as good as this.

That's good and all but a few of the missions require you to actually drive and chase and if you don't get on with the driving mechanic then you won't find it fun. Fast travel in a taxi is no help at all in story missions

On PS5 it's £8/$10 and you don't need to have owned the previous gen version. Of course this is only until June though. Assume it's the same on Xbox as well but I don't own one so I don't know
@adaminoregon there's also performance RT which is 1440p 60fps.
Don't forget the DualSense and 3D audio. Playing in performance RT is really good and pretty much a rock solid 60fps bar the odd drop here and there but for me it's all about the DualSense and 3D audio which sounds great with a headset
