They've been dead for years - they were at their best under Nintendo. They've done nothing of note since Microsoft took them over.
I agree and I've said this exact thing in the past.
Growing up I used to be a die-hard Nintendo fan - so much so that I have never owned any Sega machines, including the Mega Drive.
trouble is, as I got older I noticed Nintendo didn't get older with me so I left it behind. The Gamecube is the last Nintendo machine I owned and unless Nintendo start catering more to their older demographic then I can't see myself ever owning a Nintendo machine ever...

I quite enjoyed the game overall. A little short and quite expensive but still a great Sonic title. Nowhere near as good as Sonic 2 but it has all the hallmarks of a true Sonic game.
To me it's pure fan service. It's great for Sonic fans but if you weren't a fan of the earlier games there's nothing here to change your mind.

Between the Wii and 360? That's a joke. There's no way the Wii gets caught it's got over a 40 million lead worldwide.
Given the fact that PS3 has been slowly eroding that one year headstart the 360 had I don't see how people can be so against seeing PS3 overtake the Wii.

Read a review on IGN that stated the 360 has some framerate issues but since I don't have a 360 I can't tell you for sure.
Are IGN trustworthy? From reivews I've read in the past they don't seem to have a bias towards either system on the whole.

It's pretty obvious it was never going to reach PC standards though. Nobody is saying 360 can't do graphics but anyone thinking it could even remotely hope to compete with PC is somewhat delusional.
Same. What with DCU Online, GOW Ghost of Sparta, GT5 and LBP2 all out in November I will have to get a few as Christmas presents but GT5....I need that on release, can't wait much longer.....
I'm not bothered about tflops and all that crap, i'm bothered about convenience. It's for this reason I have an Alienware 15 R3 gaming laptop. Can run practically any game in with ultra settings without breaking a sweat and looks damn stylish to boot.
