sounds horrendous. why not just give us the f zero sequel we have been asking for since GX over 10 years ago? adding star fox racers to a traditional f zero game would be cool, but what is being proposed here is just silly.

It seems God of war is praised most for masterful storytelling and it's emotional impact. But let's be honest, what does it do that hasn't been done before in Uncharted, the last of us, grand theft auto V, heavy rain etc

It's debatable.
Resident evil 4 reinvented resident evil. Also became the benchmark for 3rd person shooter/action games at the time.
God of war is said to do the same but in comparison to what resident evil 4 did at the time, the jump is not so revolutionary. God of wars innovation is mostly cosmetic, on the surface-superficial. While resident evil 4 was at its core an innovative design. The same way mario 64 was for 3D platforming.

Labo will be remembered in 20 years time because it offered a totally new and unique experience to gamers.

Labo is better than God of war. Labo is something original, innovative, inspired... God of war is a rehash of a very very very tired formula that hasn't really changed much since golden axe on the sega mega drive.
Labo= use your imagination and creativity to make something rewarding
God of war= mindlessly bash buttons in a brain numbing gauntlet of violence
It's almost as if the game gets an extra point automatically just because it's from rare.
There was a lot of hype surrounding the game with journalists talking as if it was a revolutionary thing, having to then give the game a 5 or 6 must be quite embarrassing. They probably added a point or two just to save face.

when a game is getting universal condemnation of its crappiness, it usually is in fact, crap.
