Yeah the predicted numbers from alot of naysayers were over $500. But majority of the comments that I read were indeed people predicting the X1X to cost $450-$500. Actually Microsoft said that they will allow developers freedom to prioritize resolution over frame rate or vice versa. They never ever said every game would be native 4K. Developers are free to do whatever they want to get maximum performance for their games. I believe the Xbox One X will give us the option to tweak performance just like PC games' settings.
