PC gaming is a platform which is compatible with consoles. So many of keep saying the same nonsense for years ago. PC isn’t going anywhere and more and more games will be on PC

OK, but you need better format where these games could actually fit instead of half of the game being in physical form and all I have being on a digital code or have to download

I want to play it for single player and if I want to try legends I am willing to log into my PSN account. What’s the big deal anyway? If I want to play a rockstar game from steam I still have to have a different launcher and account other that launcher and same goes for UBI. On PC we have so many store front anyway what’s another log in. BTW the way we the pc gamers reacted to HD2 will only mean Sony will make it clear before launch that their online is only available with PSN account

Square have no one but themselves to blame. This is the same company that didn’t want to take a risk with FF7 remake so Sony help them fund it. Also they have more Nintendo exclusives than PlayStation so maybe bring some of those Nintendo games over to other platforms

All their games should be on PlayStation and pc day one(if Nintendo console could run it than should be there day one too) as far as Xbox is concerned publishers are worried whethe...

As a subscriber to Game Pass, I believe the service has the potential to be the best in gaming. However, to achieve this, it needs to consistently release three first-party exclusives each year: one AAA title and two AA titles, all with Metacritic scores of 82-85 or higher. Currently, it feels like we are not seeing this level of quality from Microsoft. Since acquiring numerous studios, the only standout game has been Hi-Fi Rush, and unfortunately, that studio is now closed.

Please prioritize PlayStation's core strengths. Historically, PlayStation has been synonymous with high-quality games and a gamer-friendly brand. However, recent communications under Jim Ryan have been met with considerable negativity. It's crucial to be mindful of how statements and intentions are perceived by consumers.

Focus on delivering exceptional single-player experiences, while selectively incorporating a few Games as a Service (GAAS) titles. Play to your st...

Yes I think you are right. They wanted the leadership in place hopefully now they can give a strong showing of what’s to come

Best of luck to both. Please prioritize the gamers and focus on creating exceptional games. While it's important to consider the business side, this industry should not be driven solely by numbers and spreadsheets. PlayStation has historically been known for pushing the boundaries and delivering new experiences, but this generation has been somewhat disappointing. Despite impressive sales and the PS5's strong performance, the overall impact has felt lacking, possibly due to the pandem...

Yes but accessing through steam means everything is in a single storefront. How it was never made available on pc all these years later still boggles my mind. It’s like such easy money

The gaming business has evolved, and PC is now seen as just another platform to release games on rather than direct competition for the same market share. Most PC gamers don't own consoles. Personally, I was a console gamer until last year. I grew frustrated with the constant greed in the console market and the lack of unity among console gamers to demand change.

Take Helldivers 2 as an example—Sony tried to push their PSN policies, but PC gamers pushed back effectively...

We all can see the days of square enix being 3rd party are coming to an end which is really sad because they have so many valuable IP’s only if they manage them properly.

Their fanboys can make all excuses and defending them however they want but like you also said facts are MS wants results. Phil can’t talk from both sides of his mouth. Did you see how tone deaf they were with their responses because they are so used to people defending them nonstop. Limelight is on Xbox and MS wants them to show progress. That’s why there are rumors of price increase on Xbox game pass.

lol are you serious? Let’s see

First game is on PC and so will the rest

Switch can’t run FF remakes

Xbox again I ask are you serious? Xbox game sales accounts for such little piece of the pie in overall gaming that there are publishers doubting if they could recover their development and porting costs for Xbox versions

The real issue here is square enix just can’t stop releasing 1-2 re...

MS aren’t looking for cult classics. They didn’t spend almost 100 billion to make cult classics. Before these acquisitions Xbox was a brand MS supported without much expectations and pressure but not anymore. Companies don’t invest 100 billion and than let them be.

For the 1st time in Xbox brands history there is pressure on them to deliver and make profits. The days of gamepass are also numbered but the subscription itself will be priced much higher moving forward. ...

Their sports titles are played by mostly casuals and so ads won’t make a difference to the gamers. What I don’t get is for a industry to generate so much money there are still astonishing levels of greed

Come on man. I guess now some people have figured out how to defend a multi trillion corporation. GP can’t be sustained with AAA games and if that’s how they will proceed than a lot more closures are ahead. Xbox use to be a meaningless brand for MS but when MS invests 100 billion they expect results. So the days of GP seeing all AAA games day one are really coming to and end a lot sooner than People want to believe

Xbox gamers don’t buy a lot ...

Never signing up for anything that has to do with UBI. Their games go on deep sales within a very short period of time. Just wait and pay under $30 while waiting longer means gold editions for $25

It’s good but not great. The ending is really rushed and you can tell 2 games are squeezed into one. First game is a standout but honestly sequel had its moments but the last 25% of the game was rushed

That’s true but keep in mind COD is the best selling or top 3 selling game every year. So yes micro transactions money is there but so are billions more

They should have tiers of GP subscriptions and the higher end tier received AAA games while everyone else gets them in 60 days
