Dear God Obscure, you haven't played it squire, how about being objective just for once!
I get being excited, but to call something we know relatively little about a masterpiece without even playing it is ridiculous.
Curious to know how you have arrived at that conclusion when so little gameplay has been shown off jwillj2k4.
How about showing Ninja Theory some respect and acknowledging the hard work and talent required to make this game.
Real people worked really hard on this game and you choose to act like a 5 year old. Wait to play the game before you start with your criticism. Even then, if you don't like it that doesn't mean others wont, just accept it w...
As someone who enjoys Assassin's Creed and Far Cry, that sound pretty good to me.
You really are a soulless bore pal, you need to chill out, you can accept the odd joke about your beloved plastic box you know!!
Looks like I caught an absolute whopper on this fishing trip 😂😂😂
It's certainly an interesting subject to discuss. I think there are bigger games that reach a threshold where that repute translates into a game still being attractive to gamers who never played the originals. But I can't help but think that when we call for a remake of some PS1 or PS2 era titles, we all have notions of Resident Evil 2 remake, FF7 remake or even the reboot of God of War and the reality is, most PS1 games we all loved could never be guarenteed to attract an audience ...
What a fantastic game that was!
I can't help but think that a lot of the games getting a mention here only have cache with gamers of a particular age and in fact, its probably not a smart move to invest 10s of millions into remakes.
The majority of gamers won't care about or have any familiarity with a lot of these titles. I say this as an old fart who played PS1 as a 21 year old and has very strong nostalgia for that generation.
Game looks great.....can't wait to play it on my PS5😜
The trouble is squire, the extremist end of the XBox community ARE that dumb, they have propped up the Xbox brand at every turn for years and bought every lie spat out by MS.
Hell, I cannot imagine another company surviving if their product had the same failure rate as the 360, but folk would even defend MS in this regard back in the day.
@Cockney
Your are prehistoric chief 🤣🤣
I am only a couple of years behind ya mate.
Holy crap, how has this flown under the radar....cheers for the heads up duder!!!
This was a fun game but nowhere near my fave 'AA' title from this era. If they announced a remake/remaster of Shadows of the Damned, I'd be over the moon.
That's about where I am too chief.
I am also bummed as my PS3 copy had been increasing in value pretty steadily and this remaster will likely put the brakes on a price increase for here on out.
If you wait till black Friday, it'll be in the mainsail👀
Yaaarrrrrr!! What's all this, it don't save yer swag, why, what kinda stinking bilge rat would play a game wivout having proper swag, raaaarrrrrr!
@Daxyde
Bravo sir, bravo!
I agree Notellin, however, once he was in bed with MS he did become pretty 'anti Sony' ans was such a shill for MS.
I think the strategy of delayed releases on PC is the sweet spot Seya, and certainly differentiates Sony from MS currently.
Releasing a title on PC once it has served its purpose on console in respect of its exclusive status is just smart business. I consider myself to be a pretty staunch PS guy but I fail to see how the release Tsushima onto PC after years of exclusivity on console in anyway undermines the value of the PlayStation studios output.
I just ...
I suppose the game isn't finished yet though, Ninja Theory may still polish some of those rough edges yet, maybe?
