I agree with Oblivion and Animal Crossing. Never played Splinter Cell games, but the rest on that list I really really like.
Tales of Vesperia was the first great HD JRPG IMO, but WKC will probably (hopefully) be better or as good. ToV was awesome, but nothing all that new in it, Tales of Symphonia is still my favorite.
WKC will be much more fresh.
going by the last official numbers from Sony and MS a couple months ago, PS3 is at 14 million, 360 at 19 million. That's a 5 million gap. Going by official numbers again, 360 was at i think 9 million when PS3 launched. So PS3 is closing in.
However, when alls said and done, I think the gap between the two will be minimal to the point where it won't matter. It'll be like last gen exept it'll be the Wii way up top with the PS3 and 360 within a couple milion of each other.
That is a lofty goal, but if any one person can make an action game to exeed GoW, I think he can. The first Devil May Cry was amazing and genre defining at the time.
However, just because I think he might have the ability to beat GoW, doesn't mean I think he will. Bayonetta and GoW3 will both be amazing, but I think GoW3 will be better. However, I have a PS3 so i can play both.
I would very much like it if they just didn't come out with new consoles till like 2013 or 2014.

Splicer does indeed look awesome. However, it'd be much more accurate to compare it to the Buzz Blades in R&C than the GeOW chainsaw gun.
And also, for anyone thinking it, the shields in R2 are not a rip off of Halo 3, they are taken from R&C: UYA on PS2 (Ratchet had a shield weapon just like it)
actually, Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal (back on PS2) had a weapon/gadget that was very much like this sheild. So it's more like Insomniac is taking an idea from their own game. Just like the Splicer=Buzz Blades.

ya, he opens his mouth a lot, but he probably keeps his job because he's somehow enabled PS3 to surpass total 360 sales in Europe after showing up over a year later.
I will go out on a limb and believe it this time. in that IGN interview, the guys seemed very, very confident about it. before they had been very sketchy about released dates when it got delayed, but they seem certain now.
Now this is closer to the score I think it deserves. a solid 8-8.5
It's well worth the money. A DVD is $15 for 2 hours of entertainment, and this is $15 for 3-4 hours of entertainment. I had fun the whole way through and best of all was the ending. DR. NEFARIUS IS BACK!
I really want this game. I love the Tales of... formula. Too bad I don't have a 360 :(

Ya, I've heard about that too. There's also a Legend that Dr. Tesla caused the incident since he was in Russian trying to invent a real Death Ray at the time.
I know I'm "supposed" to like Mario more than Ratchet, but I don't. I like both...a lot. But I happen to like Ratchet more. It's got more addictive gameplay IMO. If you're looking for straight up pure platforming action though, Mario wipes the floor with Ratchet.
But as a whole, I prefer Ratchet more, but the 2 are very different.
Now, the original Jak and Daxter is one game that beats Mario at it's own game IMO ;)
thank God they didn't copy the Wiimote and innovated with the EyeToy instead. There's just as much (if not more) potential with the EyeToy as there is with the Wiimote, so they should just keep making titles like this with the EyeToy and avoid copying.

LBP will be one of my favorite games ever, I'm sure. It's currently my most aticipated game, but MGS4 was an experience that's truly worthy of "Best Game Ever" let alone GOTY.
No matter how good LBP is (and trust me, it WILL be OMG amazing) it won't beat MGS4 in my eyes.

Sly Cooper PSP would rock. I've been itching for a new Sly since Sly 3. one of the best platformer seris out there.
