A Great list indeed..a proper gamer who has been playing the games from the starting of this decade will understand the list.. it puts out the heart of gaming in there.. I can expect ppl flaming around no UC2, MGS4, Killzone, Mass Effect, Fable etc.. but I dont blame then.. they just started gaming mostly with PS3 and Xbox.. This list is true.. I though would have like DMC3 on that.. but well cant have everything :D
I agree, this game is gonna raise the graphical bar to a whole new level. It looks awesome.
I will say this again.. the demo doesn't even scratches the surface of what bayonetta has to offer.. you can see my previous posts around.. The game deserves every bit of praise its getting.. I have finished it 2 times now and there is still so much enjoyment I am getting from the game.
for ppl who dont want to play this game coz they felt the demo was mediocre or coz its just a clone rip off of DMC.. be assured its a lot lot more than the demo that came out and miles ahead of DMC game.. I am a big DMC fan.. you can see my website and know.. but this is the game we have been waiting after DMC1 and 3.. miles ahead of it.. it maybe not have a good story.. may have decent graphics but it delivers on the sheer amt of content the game has and jus superb gameplay.. Exactly.. there is lot more to the game than the demo.. The same demo lvl in the full game is loaded with stuff and it doesnt even scratches the depth bayonetta has.. What I will say is platinum games made an amazing game but the demo was bad :P
come on guys this is a low res video.. did everyone forgot the E3 demo of the game.. this game looks crazy... I can easily say if you see the the same trailer in HD it will look a lot lot better.. now we are not comparing it to UC2 or Gears 2 or killzone.. the game on its own looks very good. The technology is very new and nice.
This game is gonna be epic.. easily one of the biggest titles next year now. Awesomeness
Good list.. I agree some of the good games were not listed. leaving out PGR5 and Rare projects as they are not announced and also a Mistwalker game that will surely come in 2010, MS has 6 sure shot heavy hitters for core hardcore gamers.. PS3 has some amazing titles like GOW3, HeavyRain, Last Guardian which are the only ones I will buy on the PS3 unless they announce a RE3 or KZ3 for fall next year... right now Xbox line up beats the PS3 lineup for me.
I agreee we had enough of Gears, Killzones, etc... I want my HL Episode 3 :)
Poets of the fall did a great job with Late goodbye for maxpayne 2.. its by far one of the best songs I have heard.. I like the fact that remedy still has faith in the band and has one of their new songs for Alan Wake ... cant wait to hear it. :D
I agree man.. Dante's inferno seems to be killer and even I am somewhat a similar gamer to you.. Story in a game gets me going.. Fahrenheit(indigo prophecy), God of war, etc.. though for baynonetta.. I quickly didnt cared for the story much as the gameplay was awesome.. rent it/buy it.. do try this game :)
Bubbles for you man.. Almost exactly what I felt for the game.. though I felt the game does has nice variety of enemies but never really used a few couple of them more then in 2 or 3 fights.. Ppl should read your post and what I wrote about the game on page one and should realize the demo is not all to the game.. its a brilliantly made action game.
The story is decent and passable.. for the times you would have anticipated most of the stuff.. maybe coz they already showed some in the trailer.. but I will say the story does has its share of twists that we don't see coming and the ending is very very epic and good. its not a cliffhanger or anything.. its very satisfying.. The story doesn't has the GOW depth to it.. GOW beats this game black and blue when it comes to narration but on its own it does a decent job.. dont expect a uncharted k...
"the nightmare is over but it will not end.." well its expected.. just give me a trailer already :D..
Let me say (after I have already finished the game twice) The demo doesnt do justice to the game.. they cut out a lot of things that are actually there in the same demo lvl in the final game.. there are so many items around, stuff to do.. dont judge the game based on the demo. When I played Bayonetta demo I found it avg.. but now I have played the full game. Demo doesnt do justice to the game.. its not even the final one we see in the game.
I agree with the statement to a certain extent.. I finished the game and I totally loved it, The combat is the best, Story is decent and passable. The battles are brilliant and there is lots of variety around with lots of WTH moments that u never see coming... GOW III and Dantes inferno better gear up there just has been a surprise entry and almost beats all the comp..
