This was a great read indeed.. I see that they can get unlimited amt of polys on the screen.. but can they get the best of lighting, textures AI along with it?? they say the tech is still far from release but if it can be integrated with game engines its gonna be phenomenal.. they already have it working with traditional poly modeling softwares.. I am having good hopes for this one.
We dont know much for either... Microsoft has some family games like that ball one, painting ... Milo from Lionhead...
For Ps3 we just know abut Re5 support for the motion controller.
It will be even hard for the devs to say whats alpha and whats beta... jus look at the size of the image.. to give a proper comparison ppl should be given a full screen.. not a close up on character.. during the Alpha stage the characters are mostly complete.. its the particle effects, foliage, world tex etc that needs polishing and fine tuning also overall game optimization so that they can steady the frame rate... have more no of objs, environmental stuff etc. Small screen of chars from hal...
I wouldn't say Metro is better looking than UC2 or even UC2 is better looking than Metro.. these are two totally different art styles and would be injustice to be compared.. The technical side of art though both of them do wonders.. The games Metro can be compared to are Stalker, Half Life and Crysis to certain extent coz they all aim for realism.. Yet Another one does a stupid comparision.. KZ2 n UC2 .. Good play your game on the Pc.. I do taht do but plz dont compare games like KZ2 an UC2 with any other game.. all have differnt style going for them.
I agree with the comment on the fire.. it looked bad in the fire trail the car was leaving behind.. but then have you see the outdoor environments of the game. Its awesomely done and maintains the visuals fidelity seen on the indoors .. the one that you say uncharted also does nicely with its variety of locations.. With metro 2033 the devs are basicing this game on a popular novel and it calls for most of the game to be taken underground.. and devs have done a great job with what they have be...
This is seriously looking awesome.. For all the previews and Game videos I have seen so far I can hardly wait.. this and GOW3 are the only two games I am buying in march ..
yaa totally awesome.. all the SSS on the Giant really shows off.. not many games so far have used that.. Crysis maybe mordern warfare 2. but this one really shows it off.
I think not.. these guys have been giving lower scores to games irrespective if they are exclusive to 360 or PS3.. better not take them too seriously.. Heavy Rain is gonna be an awesome game and Mass Effect 2 is already brillant. On my second run through the game now.

Jan was the AAA month starting with Bayonetta.. and then a very good Darksiders.. and now Mass effect 2 :D.. just awesome :D.. this is turning out better than the holiday season.

Nice one death.. rather than putting the game down. it will be nice if ppl listen to the podcast and listen to what it has to say.. there are around 3 to 4 guys who played the PS3 version and its not at all bad as some of the review sites have claimed. Well I will just say its an awesome game on its own and every DMC, GOW, NG fan should definitely give it a try much more than just the demo.
I humbly disagree.. if thats the case all the FPS are frauds then.. Wolf would be the orginal one. DI and Quatum though borrow a lot from God of war and Gears of war it will be better if we wait for the full game and see how they turn out. Dead Space was infact very much inspired from Re4 and we saw how good that was.. Bayonetta has its foundations from DMC and it was awesome too. Darksiders again.. God of war and Zelda.. yet these games have something that make them stand on their own.
