co-op story mode, hope it's online. if not that's not the end of the world, but if it's true that would be pretty sick.

sums it up. I like the immersiveness of video games, I think they are the future as far as storytelling goes, but, not everyone feels that way.
the cutscene + gameplay combination makes the game honestly.
not really you get way more character moments in your day-to-day life. Maybe the game is told from someone else's perspective, but that gives a fresh new take on the series.
I mean the anime is great but I think the interactive nature of gaming, how awesome and immersive the combat is, not to mention...cutscenes are created right out of the anime. And the cutscenes are really really good. Literally at times shot for shot.
I've only had it really dip when a bunch of NPCs are fighting where I am. Other than that I had no issues and it doesn't really affect your performance anyway, you are right.
a little here and there but honestly, I feel like it's fine. It's just when there are so many things on screen it's really noticeable. But it's nice to have it on switch.
Considering the colossal mess that Nomura left him, he did a good job. The game was in development hell and at least Tabata gave it direction and cohesion. They rushed it out despite the fact it took so long but I would say it's a great game now as to before where it was okay/good.
@steve considering I bought it on sale and sold it for more than I bought it for, then bought the royal edition with everything included, I think I made out well. Only sold it due to money problems, not because I literally hated the game. And why is it crap? What makes it so bad? It's actually a really touching story with great characters, fun combat, and incredible music. You can't ask for more.
I'm hoping/I'm sure we'll get a Luna DLC, but I'm wondering what the other two will be. Cor and Regis? Luna's brother? I mean it's a much more complete game now than it was, so I shudder to think what it will look like when they're done. I have to hand credit to Tabata, he's done a really great job.
okay thanks I don't know why so many places have said different things (the FFXV wiki said after chapter 13). I've always been more single-player minded, though I want to check it out of course.
that probably won't be till 2019/2020 as there are four more pieces of DLC and the Ardyn DLC is the only one confirmed for this year.
I almost wish I'd done that because I was so disappointed when I got it I kinda begrudgingly played through the end. I eventually sold it, but then picked up the Royal Edition and I'm finding I really really like the game.

just buy it. for $49.99 it's a great deal, and you're getting every piece of DLC. just think of the people who had the original game and season pass and now have to buy the royal pack. you'd be saving a ton.

I just want some fresh movesets. It's been since...Melee for some characters.
