Microsoft was doing great until a year and a half ago with exclusives. Then things dropped off a ton. Last year was about hardware, they set the stage for the future. This year, I think software is going to rule Microsoft's E3. They know they need it, I think they're just being tight lipped. Sony is great but I wonder about the future. The PS4 Pro pales in comparison to the 1X. they either need a better upgrade or another console, but then they'd need to start from scratch.
power matters to an extent. I think in the future it will moreso than now. That's why the Xbox One X is a long-term investment. I bet it's on the market for like 8 years. It really is a next-gen console, but they're smart by putting it in the xbox one family. now all they have to do is fully optimize games for it from the ground up.
Halo, Gears, New IP, VR or Augmented reality, and then Quantum Break 2. If they do that they may win E3 easily. Especially if they are full optimized for the XB1X.
Have you played WWHD or TPHD? Both are fantastic. Being able to play them on the go would be awesome and way better than with the clunky gamepad.
yeah that surprises me. even some kind of Wii Sports type game would be cool but I guess it hits too close to the Wii brand. I'd like wario ware or actually an original title that's just completley whacky for when friends are over.
Ports are okay. I'd rather have those than no games at all like we got with the Wii U, GC, and N64 for long periods.
I really wanted a Luigi’s mansion 3 on switch. Also Wario Ware is the perfect party Game
Zero Time Dilemma is one of my favorite games. All three game out on the DS (first one) and then the other 2 on the 3DS, so it would be cool, but not sure if sales would be enough. ZTD was incredible though. I love puzzles games like that. Honestly it's really hard to pick though but I think these are the strongest candidates personally, although, I get that Xenosaga is more I'm really wishing.
Zelda's my favorite series but honestly it would be really smart for nintendo to capitalize on the series' popularity right now, as it's at an all-time high. i would love a collection, unlikely to happen. bravely default would be cool, I would actually really like a remaster/port of FF IV from the DS on the Switch. that would be awesome. I love that game. it was really hard too but one of the best FF games. and it wasn't on the SNES classic.
I actually agree re: Zelda collection, but, knowing Nintendo they'll sell them for like $60 a piece seperately. I would love an HD collection though with all of them, as it should be. XCX I really enjoyed. I actually would rather a Mario Maker 2, which may be why they didn't release a port at launch.
I agree but only up to a certain point. I loved the MW games, at least the first two, but after that it got so bad. Splatoon is so much more fun and innovative and just...better.
The character design is some of the most unique I've ever seen. When I played it at E3 I was in love instantly.
I totally forgot about the campaign. so much fun. and that's what CoD is missing, at least these days. I remember playing MW2 and it was just so crazy. I felt it didn't totally take itself too seriously. Then we got the sci-fi crap and its been downhill from there.
eh I would say MW2 is the best of them all. The campaign was incredible as well as the MP.
honestly a really fun game. I haven't spent this much time with a shooter in ages.
As someone who's completely fallen out of Call of Duty, Splatoon 2 was such a breath of fresh air (I didn't play the first one).
It's a great game but a port with almost no new content....:\
That would actually be pretty cool. I've been playing ALBW and it's the only game I'll play in 3D.
Yeah probably Halo 6 before gears but I hope it goes back to its roots. I didn't like Halo 5. And I really hope we get to see Gears 5 as well. Microsoft has so much potential.
that's totally different, the xbox one x is a totally different animal. they could introduce some really really innovative things with that much power. I'm sure we'll see more at E3 and when VR comes it will blow sony out of the water (even though I hate VR and it messes up my eyes).
