Long time gamer here that has supported everything sony. Knowing Sony, they'll do something that just turns off gamers to the point where this won't sell and then be considered a failure. They'll put in some over priced proprietary memory card that you can only buy on Thursdays or some archaic charging port akin to a cars jumper cable... I might support it, but I'm pretty happy with remote play on my Logitech G Cloud.
Now just wait a minute. You're not referring to the HL series for a single player experience are you?! They now seem to piss money on game development in oversaturated types. I've pretty much given up hope on proper justice to the HL franchise.

There were some side quests that could yld have been developed into an entirely separate game. Some great writing there.

There are still a lot of gems out there and there definitely isn't any shortage of games to choose from. I've been gaming for over 40 years and there was a novelty of it all back then. Now I'm definitely picky with so much being released and what I choose to devot my little gaming time towards.

I also wonder to keep difficulty in the game, they are preventing players from beefing up too much on all the side quests.
