There were some side quests that could yld have been developed into an entirely separate game. Some great writing there.

Asuras wrath was awesome. I don't know what compares except maybe sudas games.
There are still a lot of gems out there and there definitely isn't any shortage of games to choose from. I've been gaming for over 40 years and there was a novelty of it all back then. Now I'm definitely picky with so much being released and what I choose to devot my little gaming time towards.

I also wonder to keep difficulty in the game, they are preventing players from beefing up too much on all the side quests.

At the end of the day, it's all about sales and making money. Each company makes more money off the software as opposed to hardware. Eliminating exclusives would increase exposure and possibly lead to more profits.
