Exclusives sell consoles, that's a fact, having said that, I'm not buying an Xbox for those few games, I'm going to wait for a PC release (most of the Fable games are there, one or two Gears games are there too). If this exclusives didn't sell consoles, Nintendo and Playstation wouldn't be as successful as they are.

You could see this coming from a mile away, we did hear rumours of a new Xbox, but I'll be very surprised if it actually comes to fruition, unless that's actually an Xbox/PC handheld they're developing.

I also wonder if they were aware of the microtransaction or if they even looked/available at the time they played? You would have thought so, and that should have triggered them to mention it in their reviews, but then again a lot of the major gaming journalist outlets aren't that good to begin with.

My understanding was that Sony helped more than actually funding the game, hence while it started out as an exclusive game for Playstion, but we know the plan was to eventually port it to at least PCs.

I can't see it being on the Switch either, look at how badly the Witcher Wild Hunt runs on it, considering FF16 is a lot newer, it would be a disaster. But the Switch 2 might be able to run it at a decent graphic/performance level.

Artistic choices for the most part? Fair enough, not everything needs to be hyper realistic.

I won't be going for this Bobble Head, I feel like Jim Ryan's reign was one of the worst periods in Playstation, also probably the reason I haven't seen a good reason to buy the PS5. Hopefully he's replacement doesn't continue in the same direction, I'm really missing the magic Playstation used to have.

Not really, no, it's only a matter of time, I've seen earlier versions of Denuvo cracked in 24-48 hours, it just punishes the legit buyers more than the pirates.

Haven't played the game myself, but a lack lustre story seems to be a common compliant of the sequel, unfortunately I really loved the lore/story of the first game and I would have liked more of that expanded on.

Last time I looked, it didn't even crack the top 40 in the Steam charts (I think it held position 49 when I looked), Horizon really does have a cursed release schedule.

I just remember seeing a lot of them for some reason, maybe I'm thinking of the internet as a whole then, but I swear I remember talking about it on here.

If I was going to gone through crunch time, I'd rather do it at home where I'm reasonably comfortable and still have my family around (even though I'm working). I feel like this game will delay till 2026, GTA games are always huge games, it also makes me wonder how long this game as actually been in development for, at least since 2022 (when we first got leaks of it), but realistic, it's probably been longer than that.

Yeah, I wouldn't want to go back to the PS3 days, every time I booted it up, I'm reminded how slow it is.

This would have been good back when we were constantly getting Switch Pro rumour articles, especially when said console never materialised (whether or actually existed, or was planned to is another question).

You don't want your competitors stealing said secrets or countering your product/service before it releases.

59d ago 4 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yes, but some people are still willing to take risks, now if they get caught is the question.

59d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

I'm not surprised, I expect that half of the leaks we come across are purposely released by the companies involved.

I used to jump between console and PC depending on the sale price, but now, I'd rather just get the PC version since it's cheaper more often than not, plus Steam Deck makes it an even more compelling option.

It would be good to know if it's a decent port, imagine how p*ssed people would be if they bought the game on PS5, and it ran like garbage (remember Cyberpunk on last gen consoles?).

Mine's become very exploitative too, sick and tired of doing the work of 3 or 4 people, failing and getting stressed out while the company makes record profits every year. I can't go without work, but I'm hanging on until I can find something else, sometimes it sucks living in a rural/regional town.
