It's because early access, Sony prefer more polishes and finished products.
It'll be on PS within the year.

🐑🐑 he got took out of context.

It's a great game too, just gamers being sheep 🐑 and fannies again because they think it's cool.

Because nobody reads article dates, in fact most just read the article headline and nothing else.

🤣😂 made me chuckle that 😏

It was the same when millions of gamers asked for a sly remake then when the game came out it sold like 10,000 copies.
Sometimes we think we want the old games then in reality nobody ever buys it 😂🤣

Yeah I here ya, I'm on the fence tbh as I think the haptics could be really cool but it seems a little early.
I guess it's to tie in with the movie release so makes sense somewhat.

Agreed all notifications off apart from sport for a week is needed for this one.

If I was apple I'd approach Sony and try and get a deal done on game or 2.
Here's 600m to make 2 games and we will split the profits 50/50 or something like that.
I'd love to see calibrations like that in the industry or Elon musk saying here's a billion playstation go and make me this.
In the real world that's not gonna happen but I'd love it spreading the costs and it would be better for apple than spending billions upon billions trying to...

You can't wait till launch to see if a game fails then magically release a playstation version. You'd have to make them side by side and release one a year later or something.

The head scratching thing is everyone knew it wasn't sustainable but MS and Xbox gamers.
It's literally NOT even rocket science to understand it was never going to work.
It's easier to explain black holes than getting GP to be successful.
The writing was on the wall during the pandemic with the entire globe in lockdown and barely allowed out the house and GP still flat lined with sub numbers.
I knew when Xbox revealed at the launch reveal Xbox ...

I've just used the GP app through the Samsung gaming hub on my TV. Had GP about 5 times this gen and played Ori, SF, Forza, sea of thieves and few others but that was about it from Xbox for me.
I was planning on doing the same for hellblade 2 and indy but I might just tbw able to buy them in playstation now with trophies

Plus releasing AAA game every quarter as they plan to do this year onwards doesn't come cheap like a billion in dev costs across 4 games every year.
Gonna have to get the money back somehow because 25m GP numbers was never going to recoup the costs.
I think MS expected 50m plus GP numbers after a pandemic with everyone in lockdown for a year plus but that just didn't happen for them.

I wonder if MS does go full 3rd party and cease making consoles wether they would support VR2 ?
I would like that, more games for VR.

114d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

Because Sony would love 30m plus Xbox casuals jumping ship and buying a playstation if Xbox decided to not make consoles anymore .

114d ago 2 agree1 disagreeView comment

AAA 1st party games cost 300m plus development costs, they were always gonna look into going 3rd party to get the money back.
I think MS were thinking during the pandemic GP numbers would have surged upto 50m plus but that just hasn't happened.
The writing was on the wall when GP couldn't get the numbers for GP during such a terrible time of lockdowns across the globe.
I do feel for the diehards though as you say finally they're getting to a place of pot...

They have games, but I'll gladly buy hellblade 2, indy, Wolfenstein, doom, replaced, ori and 1 or 2 others.
What playstation fans have said is they can't make games over the last decade on par with the Sony AAA 1st party games which they still haven't done.
Clearly Xbox has games just nowhere close to the quality level of playstations 1st party.

What's crazy about actually trying to get 300m plus development costs back especially knowing the other console gamers actually buy games.
Do you think MS have 3 trillion in the bank being nice to just one set of people.

114d ago 4 agree2 disagreeView comment

Who would have thought MS wants the money back from 300m plus development costs from gamers who actually buy games/S

114d ago 5 agree2 disagreeView comment

So many great games, I've still got about 20 games on my wishlist to get through.
Wallets going to hurt this year with VR and traditional games.
